In 2010 Australia made some changes to the ASIO Act that facilitated foreign drug cartels to operate with impunity as they were guised as "affiliates".
That short sighted view has allowed the worst of the worst to do whatever they want.

The three are not the US, the UK or Burkina-Faso. The former two already had those rights and ASIO scum wouldn't be able to find Africa on a map let alone Burkina-Faso.
FWIW: ASIO still consider the ANC a "terrorist" organization.
