I explained back on page 2 how poor people get fat. 

70% of SNAP recipients are overweight or obese.

That's because of another welfare program. You are probably not aware of. It's called ethanol. It's where our brilliant leader wanted to make us energy independent. By wasting a lot of energy and tax money to make ethanol. This has the extra added effect of making corn syrup cheap. Which makes fattening snacks cheap. Which makes poor people fat.   

This also one of the main reasons we have a massive blocked artery crisis in America as well.

Diet (types of food you eat) probably has more to do with culture than anything else.

Changing culture norms is one of the hardest things in the world.

A person can be overweight and malnourished.

A friend of mine has three kids. Her husband moved out and left them 2 months ago. He met another women and sent her divorce papers. She was not working just raising her kids. She had to go on SNAP. 

 Only half of the money came in. This is one person who I can say needs SNAP. She went to a few food banks and one was out of food. A few of us pitched in and bought her needed items and food last night.

Her husband is a pile of junk.

I can not count the number of countries I have visited where the girl gets pregnant and the husband or  boyfriend gets another wife/girlfriend and never returns. My wife's father left when she was two; her mother nor  her ever received any kind of support; just one of thousands who end up that way. 

Grand parents or the young girl's mother ends up raising the child as the new mother works to help support the family. Seems to work as a child is a form of social security who will hopefully support the mother in her old age... Blood Family network is strong in those countries....

The man in way to many cases is just a sperm donor who leaves to never return.

Yeah that’s really messed up.   It’s really bad in the Philippines.  I know a Filipino that’s had a baby with 2 different fathers and her brother and his girlfriend abandoned their child which she took in, so, 3 kids.    Not one of those fathers have ever given her money to help their kids, they’ve all left and haven’t returned.   It’s very sad because she’s a very beautiful and caring person and barely makes ends meet.   The fathers just don’t care.

 The secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) said in a recent interview that the department found that 500,000 people are registered twice for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, while more than 5,000 deceased people have also been receiving the benefits.
In an interview on Nov. 12 with Fox News, USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins said that SNAP is one of the “most corrupt, dysfunctional programs” in U.S. history, adding that 80 percent of people using the program are able to work. After an investigation, the secretary said that 5,000 dead people were getting SNAP, while another 500,000 people were getting SNAP twice under the same name.
“They choose not to work” because taxpayers are footing the bill, she added, saying that “very big announcements” will be coming in the next week.
Her comment was made as SNAP benefits, known as food stamps, saw setbacks and legal wrangling during the government shutdown that was ended on Wednesday evening.
Rollins also suggested that if some SNAP benefits are cut off, more illegal immigrants will self-deport, which she said would change the outcome of the Census.
Earlier in the month, as SNAP benefits were suspended, Rollins described “massive fraud” in the system, noting that the fraud was discovered only in states that had cooperated with a prior investigation. She said that 21 states refused to hand over their SNAP data to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which was established by the Trump administration earlier this year.

If ConAgra were concerned, it could easily not use corn syrup; the public needs to be weaned off conglomerate food. Instead of SNAP benefits, thats full of graft and fraud, send healthy and appetizing meal boxes, then watch those who abuse SNAP get to work. 

Do meal deliveries or meal support warehouses, where members can order or pick up their meals. Im low income, I'd support that and it could work, it has to be better than the current system.

Mom just got out of the hospital, and she isn't eating enough.

The doctor "prescribed" sending meals for 2 weeks, and they are high in nutrition, and she says they are pretty good. I tried her leftovers, and they are fairly good and could be doctored up with basic seasoning. 

That has to be cheaper and better, and with less fraud potential, hell, do that and find a way for grocers and or chain restaurants to supplement with free pantry items and meals.
