I was just trying to ask why when ArMaP explained the context of this thread twice, some people keep ignoring what he/she is correcting? Perhaps the thread title needs correcting?

I agree, maybe "72" in quotes or something might have been a sound editorial decision, (it's unfortunate the source lacks one too) but the source is actually true to the title... even though it mixes up some things in a typically politi-speech way.

I could make a case either way... but everyone here drilled down to the bone rather quickly and the time for changes is done in my opinion...

Well, I would say that we have about twenty five to thirty shots given to kids before they turn eighteen, but some of those contain multiple vaccines in them....and even the flu shot has four different strains of the flu vaccine in them.   So, I would guess that the total vaccinations recommended till eighteen are somewhere in the forties.  Yes some kids might be getting some extra if they have immune system problems.  It may hit seventy two sometimes.  I know one kid that gets all kinds of shots every year because they killed his immune system with chemo.  Can't understand that since a vaccine does not work if you don't have an immune system to stimulate.

The problem is that they say it is way less, but some vaccines like the DTAP and MMR each have three.  And of course the flu shot usually has about four.  I do not agree with multiple vaccines in one shot, because how is a person supposed to know which one of those vaccines the kid is intolerant to.  I can't take the DTAP, but I don't have a problem with the Tetnus shot, and because the symptoms match whooping cough, it is probably only that part that I have an intolerance to...I may be able to take the TD.  When I told the doctors about this, they just said just take the tetnus, I probably already had immunity to the whooping cough, and my body overreacted like it does to the flu vaccine.

My condition is not that rare, lots of people have overreactions to vaccines, the immune system thinks the virus is right in the blood and goes crazy.  Yet I rarely get sick from the flu, and my last real whooping cough incident...real disease, was back in the late sixties, I know exactly what that felt like and my reaction to the DTAP is almost exactly the same.

the 72 is still an important number, because isn't that the number of batches (not targeted diseases, not vaccine types) that one would have to keep track of, if one weren't 100% sure of the manufacturing standards and consistency of these components?

every times there is recall for medicine stuff it seem to always be specific batches?

it is like eating at 72 different food trucks and estimating your chances of getting food poisoning. the 72 is an important number, even if you knew they got their ingredients from 17 different vendors, or there were 11 different types of food consumed...

but yes it is wrong to say "72 shots" and it smacks of those who have an agenda to make it seem like everything and the kitchen sink is being injected into children.

...but i am still curious about the question i asked upthread; does anyone know how many non-vaccine shots kids are given? vitamins and such?

Because babies typically come in contact with many different adults, as soon as they go home from the hospital.  Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. etc.  Most of the population is not screened for Hep B, and most people who have it don't show symptoms for many years--usually when they start showing the effects of liver damage.

Yeah but simply hugging doesn't transmit Hep B.
You have to have body fluids or sexual contact.
That's what the literature says.

I suppose vaccine injuries aren’t a thing and never were then? I far as I can tell it’s the cocktail of shots given to babies in a short period of time when they are barely out of the womb that seems to be the issue. 

Oh and doctors getting paid extra to push pills and vaccines should be banned outright.
