No Kings 2.0

There are none.

The No Kings clowns are red assed over the Trump administration enforcing the laws of this country.

The same laws that the Democrat leaders around the country thumb their noses at and refuse to enforce.

You don't like the laws being enforced, leave the country.

Try Googling "the World". It's outside of the US.

Shocking for you, I know.

I vote in the elections so I bitch.

Anyway.  A president of the USA actually trying to make peace deals.  Awesome.  Huh.

It really does not matter! This world is all crazy.
Be kind to everyone!

I can't find any here or in MSM that can point to policies that are authoritarian.

They say enforcing the law is now authoritarian, but that's because we had 4 years where laws weren't enforced.

I've seen nothing king-like.

So what are they protesting?
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

Maybe you should realise there is a world bigger than your king and little empire.

Tumble

It's their job.

They are paid to do it.

They protest anything the people who cut the checks tell them to protest.

All weekend long there was no debate over Trump's "kingish" policies.

He's enforcing existing laws which the democrats don't want.

Agree 100%

And the really crazy part -- we haven't reached peak insanity, yet

Except that he isn't enforcing the laws of the country.  He's ruling by decree and shoving in judges who will allow him to do what he wants.

This is what a king/divinely appointed ruler does.   He doesn't negotiate with anyone or listen to other people.  It's his way or prison-way.  The judges don't follow the law of the land; they follow whatever the leader desires.

....like a third and even fourth term.  Or "president for life" --and both of those are against our Constitution.  He has also taken on the role that the states had reserved for themselves in the Constitution.

I would personally love it if he stuck to the limits of the office instead of sneaking around its power limitations through persuading Congress to not confirm appointments that would block his overstepping.

A democracy is all about understanding that there are many sides to an issue and that as society progresses our laws need to also progress (there are no ancient Roman laws about speed limits because nobody back then was dashing around roads at 100 mph or faster.)  It's about negotiating things to come to a wiser procedure, not about pretending that one guy is some sort of divinity who has all the right answers.

What has he done, king-like?
