Damn,

You just reignited the ME of September 11, 2001. I WAS FUCKING PISSED! Propelled me to leave a cult religion. System of a Down and The Deftones was all I listened to for months (angry much). This one in particular fueled my fire:

For most things 'rinse and repeat' only with more force.

Please elaborate, silly.

I thought 'most things' is evident to most people.

Rinse and Repeat; climate change but with more force, war but with more force, violence but with more force, taxes raised but with more force...get it now?

Late March it will miraculously turn up in Australia + New Zealand where the panicked sheep like response will be to slaughter most of their cattle and convince themselves that they are all asymptomatic carriers of yet another made up pile of bullshit.

May and no sign of your prediction.

I predict that the crazy tariffs that Trump proposed will be quietly forgotten, pretty much like his wall in the desert from his first term has been.

Once the big PR stunt has done its job of distracting those with goldfish attention spans, the non-achievement of what was once regarded as Trump's primary policy pillars is simply forgotten.

None the less, Trump this time drove the US economy down for a month or so. All the potential commerce income of that time is now lost forever as America slides further towards fiscal irrelevance to the world under the direction of a clueless con man.

I predict that the rise of China as the worlds predominant economic superpower will happen faster (perhaps even this year?) due to Trumps incompetent meddling with an existing system that had put the USA at the top for eight sequential decades.

Actually there's a lot of weird "sh*t going on in China right now.   I'm thinking that those Trump tariffs came at exactly the wrong time for China.

Here's the link to a page on You-Tube of opposition to the regime.   From some of the videos I would say the internal conditions in China are questionable.  Also when a billion peons go jobless and hungry oligarchs get nervous.

Imagine being so wrong and yet so confident. None of what you said has come to pass.

Both video channels are based in the US.

Tell you what, I had some friends who were in Shanghai just last week, and they were posting videos of shopping, and eating out, and the night-life, and doing all the other things that tourists do. They have been travelling to Vietnam and all sorts of Asian places, but are currently (today) in Italy. They didn't see anything like what the videos say.

I imagine that there are many places in the US like San Francisco or Detroit or Chicago that have empty shops and derelict malls etc. Do you think all of the US is like that?

China is a big place. Bigger than the US. My guess is that you are also located in the US too. Currently in the US, you are under a regime that is shutting down independent news and is promoting misinformation fairly heavily. Much like the CCP is also doing.

Here is what I would do. If a news or info source is telling you only real bad stuff and no positive stuff at all, about one particular group, then they probably are biased. If another news or info source is the exact opposite and says nothing negative at all about one particular group, then they too are biased. I would probably take anything they say to be mostly untrue.

Real economists say that, while the US is heavily reliant on China for tech like batteries and retail grade electronics and a whole lot of cheaply manufactured goods, China is far less reliant on the US for anything.

Visualizing China’s Dependence on U.S. Trade

US dependency on key Chinese imports

Why Is The U.S. So Ridiculously Dependent On China?

The US is largely a services based economy, having left agriculture and manufacturing as primary decades ago.

In any sort of decoupling of US - China trade, the US will come off the worse.
