Yay, another look at what I can do protest...
Boycotting only works as a long-term strategy, unless we are referring to localized boycotts. This may hurt a few smaller businesses but the larger entities will brush it off like it was nothing or use it as an excuse to lay off people
The best move would be moving to Canada...
People don't get it, GenX and Boomers are fine living without... all it is, is stuff you don't need and/or activities you won't really enjoy... the key to happiness is being a minimalist for most people
Besides, with fewer leftists around, it will be fun to visit the places that are still open....

Quote:Protesting against an empire is pointless, your always outnumbered
What you need to do there is form communities and infiltrate, it's really all you can do, that and constant propaganda, culture and religious wars, not the bloody kind, the conversion kind (or just massive disruption)
You could start some bloody war and be Spartacus I suppose (he died)
Culture is the way to go, a revolution of love, dance and be merry
I think I must have overextended myself back in 2002. Up against such blatant lies; such un-deterrable determination to invade. I wrote letters, went to protests. I'm so pessimistic for the future.
I fell in with this group of hippies. They had weekly sit in protests at the gate of a military base. They had a scheme to sing and chant and have circle ceremonies and the military would give up the base and it would become a state park. They had a name picked out and everything.
Guess what? The war happened and the base is still a base.
But anyway, not all are as pessimistic as I am.

Are the weenies going to be standing around singing off key and banging on drums?
That seems to be their thing now ... It's so ridiculous.

UGH. They really have no clue how pathetic they look and sound.
Doesn't do their 'cause' any favors.

They are sticking it to the corporate mindset that keeps the working class living on poverty wages.
"The boycott is part of the broader "Economic Blackout Tour" which has run since early 2025. Organizers say actions will continue into the fall and winter. The campaign includes both long-term boycotts and single-day "blackout" events, where participants are encouraged to avoid all consumer spending and attend protests at state capitols."

They're gonna stick it to the man, and have their parents buy their hot pockets instead.
