It's a wide spectrum antibiotic and after my last surgery in September, guess what the Nurse walked in with a hypo full of, ready to inject it into my IV.
They also made that mistake not long after I found out I was allergic to it, so now before I let them give me anything during a hospital stay, I ask what it is.
Yes they need to read charts! They are messing with our lives! I am happy that you caught it!

I find it amusing that the reason they are marketing this "AI" (grinding my teeth here) was to "improve" everything.... never once demonstrating the "beneficiaries" of that plan as themselves...
It keeps echoing in my head that institutions, governments, and especially their attendant social organizations all begin by satisfying a public need... and always seem to abandon that themselves by making policy only to serve themselves...
This situation - I understand - is all "on you" to chase down and resolve... demanding forms, and 'who you are' challenges in between... check-boxes and a repeat of their 'click here to agree' power-ups.
It's funny that our subjugation to automation sucked from the beginning.... 'cause this is not getting "better for us"... only "better for them"... all profit - no labor.
If you can even try - I wonder how "They" can expend the resources and labor to fix their "permanent record" screw up... or is customer service now defined as an algorithm too?
Perhaps they should have to "pay you" for the time and stress they created.
So here is a company promoting AI for healthcare! AI is messing up things big time!

Remember when they told us putting all our records on a computer would be safe and more efficient?
Well, dozens and DOZENS of hacks later, they sure jumped the shark on that idea.
This AI snafu could make that look benign.

The theory behind an computerized automation of medical information is absolutely benign.
Problem is the government itself believes every press-release description of what these companies say they can do.
And someone out there is either hiding an AI... or is hell-bent on convincing everyone it's present and accounted for here.
... and of course, money - BIG money, is roiling around like crazy...
The idea of automating medicine was about 'portability' and a consistently updated CORRECT medical record...
Then insurance companies and banks made it another human v machine combat...
much of the interference with actually reaching a point of 'service' with these behemoths was to be eliminated by automation.... evidently that didn't work... now super automation with "AI" will solve everything - by defining what is and is not a problem. But ... what AI?
They are selling LLM and algorithmic processing as AI....
"Pretending" an LLM is something that it is not, seems to be the only trick that pony has.
The bullshit gets deep.

The next morning they email me a summary of my visit! The summary is all done by AI! Everything was super wrong. I am adding a screenshot below. I have never been to Vegas! I could not post the meds they added because they were not even my meds plus it had my Dr’s name listed and another patient. They ended up billing my insurance using AI for another person. I am only on two meds for my heart. AI put info into my pharmacy for refills of 7 meds plus my meds. I ended up calling Mr Doctors office after CVS text me that my RX’s are ready. That is when the person on the phone said but we already billed your insurance! Lol I said so fix this big big mess!

I would think there are several lawsuits if you desire to pursue a legal recourse for slander. Might as well be a trend setter to stop this crap now as I am sure there are law firms that would take this case at no cost to you until you win...then maybe 50+% would be their take. .

I'd lock them at 33% --- the publicity alone is worth 50%.

My daughter has worked straightening out medical records for many years now, at one time she had her own business and subcontracted with a big company to do that. She got tired of all the work so now works for a big hospital network on the east coast, from home. She is not the manager of the people doing all the fixing and combining of records. She has only had to go to the main hospital a few times to meet people and to get initially trained for their system.
Records are messed up a lot and data was improperly entered into the wrong accounts and that is what they fix. But even after they get things pretty well straightened out, there is new stuff popping up that is still entered wrong. It is a mess. She has a degree in cybersecurity now to identify hacking going on, but she said there doesn't appear to be much of that, it is mostly people imputting things wrong or into wrong accounts. With their software changing often, it is messing up people's ability to know how to properly do things she said, they just get people trained in and upgrades to fix things change how it works.
So, it is probably someone who entered a wrong social security number or misspelled a name that caused the problem. AI only works with what it has, if mistakes were made over the years it will add it to your records.

Your daughter has a great job! Yes someone messed up and AI made it worse! The Dr. signed off on it electronically! Thank you for your post
