Most popular baby name in England/Wales
#1
What do you think is the most popular baby name in England and Wales for 2024?
"Good British names like Edward?  Henry?  Oliver?
Nope.  It's Muhammad.
And it was the most popular by A LOT.

Bu-bye Jolly Old England.
No wonder it's called Londonistan now.
Good luck England.
Your immigration is out of control.

(And no, I don't care how that may sound to some)

That's how a whole lotta' people here in America refer to London ... Londonistan ... cuz' of all the foreigner Muslims that have moved in and aren't assimilating, and cuz' of all their offspring, and they aren't 'British' in their way of life.

In California the most popular boys name is Liam. High on the list is also; Noah, Noel, Sebastian, Elijah, Ezekiel, Ezra, Daniel, Levi, and Elias.

So either named after Old Testament prophets or members of Oasis.  And we are not a terribly religious state either.

With that list of names you'd think only Mennonites were breeding.

This guy has the most popular name almost everywhere.

Have you ever been to Washington DC?
Nope.
Doesn't stop you from commenting about the people there.
So I"m going to give it a try as well.

LONDONISTAN.
That's what London is referred to as by many people here.
And from the articles and statistics and news reports ... it seems to fit.

Good luck with the out of control immigration over there.
You are too old to live to see the results of it.
But your 'Jolly Old England' and British culture are on the way out.
Enjoy it while you can.

I didn't say it was 'odd'.
I said it was the most popular.
Cuz' it is.
Which says a lot about the immigration situation there and the culture changing.

"odd" as in, approximately.

Maybe, English is not your first language?

What's me not visiting Washington DC got to do with you slagging off my country?

I have lost count of the number of times you have complained about "foreigners" expressing an opinion about US matters.

So, do one....

1 - English is my first language and around here 'odd' means just that ... odd.  It doesn't mean 'approximately' in America.

2 - I'm stating a verified fact about your country.   Muhammad is the most popular baby name.   And I"m discussing the implications of that.  You don't like people doing that and call it 'slagging off' (whatever that is) ... that's your problem.   You make opinionated comments on America and Americans all the time.  How do you like it when someone else does the same thing about your country?

3 - Foreigners isn't a dirty word.  It's an accurate description of people who aren't from America from our point of view.   And when it comes to discussing English things, I'd be the foreigner.   You've got a bias against the word for some reason.  Get over it.

4 - 'so do one' ... what?   No idea what you are talking about.
