Show us where Trump has allocated monies for robotic crop pickers, farm animal management, etc.

On the news: White farmers surprised black Americans won't go back to the fields to pick their crops. Family farms operating for generations are being lost and J.D. Vance is in a group called "AcreTrader" who will quickly buy up that farmland. Planned all along?

---------------

"The criticism has resurfaced on X (formerly Twitter), where users echoed the sentiment. “If anyone wants to buy Texas, US citizenship isn’t required,” one user quipped sarcastically. “You should contact JD Vance, he’s an investor in AcreTrader,a company that sells US farmland to Americans and foreigners. I'm sure he'll hook you up for the right price.”

"However, it remains uncertain whether Vance still holds a stake in the company. He stepped down from Narya in December 2022, but the specific breakdown of its investments is not publicly available. As per Snopes, there is “no indication” that Vance has divested from AcreTrader."

Why don't people realize that both the left and the right have extremely biased news sources?

I think that’s the wrong person to discuss the credibility of sources with.

We don’t even ever know their sources.

Ha, I guess I don't know, but there was a while where the internet did make it easier to find legit sources, like if it was in the New York Times, it was considered credible, but now... I read any article of interest, Im automatically looking for other sources.

We are regressing in our news and information capabilities... even though I'd used to read the paper and new magazines, watch some TV News, the bulk of my day wasn't wrapped up or plugged into the news like it is now.

I completely agree.

My brain automatically assumes bias once I know the source someone is using. But if someone shows their source, at least there is some transparency, and we can compare it to other sources on the same subject and try to read between the lines.

But my point was, that specific member never posts sources, but is happy to dunk on other people’s sources. I’ve seen very bold claims posted in a matter of a fact way with no evidence.

Seems like a double standard, especially since I see people get ripped on the board for the sources they use, but they’ll ignore that members claims.

Yeah, much like the internet, there was a sweet spot for Conspiracy etc. message boards, where one could learn and discuss and EVEN if one disagreed, their reply was less antagonistic and obtuse.

I deal with that in real life, dont need it in my message board chatter.

The thing is, I used ATS for news information and opinions till it transitioned, DI is entry-level infotainment and arguing.
