More Flooding

This time in Ruidoso, New Mexico so far 3 reported dead 2 children and an older male. Another flash flood, in a pretty barren area no less. NYtimes just happened to be the first link in the search due to Google algorithm I have no preference. That aside, last flood thread I talked about the flooding in my area before the hill country and I live in a very arid cactus growing area of Texas. We shouldn't flood, yet we did. Granted the giant creek near us that has been dry for decades is now full to the top if it had water in it we would be washed out too and surprisingly we still flooded just not as extreme as these places. I dont want to say something is going on, but something is going on and its still going.

"CHATHAM COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Tropical Depression Chantal continues its assault on Central North Carolina as flash flooding concerns now linger overnight.Chatham County was hit especially hard with an estimated 6-8" of rain that has led to multiple closed roads and even flooding of Eastgate Shopping Center in Chapel Hill."

Tracking Chantal | Haw River, Chatham County, other parts of North Carolina hit hard by flooding from Tropical depression - ABC11 Raleigh-Durham

I just watched CNN interviewing Bill Nye, the science guy, and he points to climate change - the burning of fossil fuels.

*pre scripted response for public consumption*
Make sure to mention:
Global warming from anthropomorphic causes
Heat wave due to fossil fuels
Drought due to human water overuse
Soil capacity
Infrastructure collapse due to Republican (especially) mismanagement
Appeal to human emotion and grief regarding potential and actual loss of life

Not for public dissemination:
Land / real estate property values
Land / real estate property ownership
Projected future land-use.
Insurance coverage
Insurance payout

Thank you for your attention.

He mainly wanted to point this out:

Storm and flood warnings:

"As 27 million Americans are under severe thunderstorm and flash flood watch on Wednesday, a line of strong storms packing intense rainfall is threatening the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
Major I-95 cities -- Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Richmond, Virginia -- could be impacted as heavy downpours could bring 2-3 inches of rainfall per hour over already saturated soils, which could easily cause flash flooding."

Flash flood watch in effect for Washington, DC, major Mid-Atlantic cities

Keep safe to those affected.
