Yeah, there can be no real discussion with some members here as all they want to do is push the blame game or just point out one side of the coin.

That's how the filthy rich do it, threaten lawsuits that will go on forever and cost so much that the defendant ultimately deems it not worth it and capitulates. Justice not done.

Wolff is not suing for defamation, he's sueing for Melania's intimidation lawsuit which he considers a threat to shut him up, or rather to stop him from publishing his tell-all book.
 
He's is considered by many to be a freedom fighter for the free press and free speech.

He's also been accused of "reporting" fictitious information throughout his career.

In other words, it's defamation when someone of political power or wealth says it, but when it is the press saying it, it's okay. 


He has none, or at least has not shown any, proof to anything he claims about the Trumps. That is defamation, plain and simple. He only filed this suit as to not be found liable for just that.

Should Obama be able to sue Trump for the birth certificate claims? I don’t think so. It’s a question people should be able to ask of those leading the country.

And before anyone says anything about the First Lady being different, it’s not like the Obama’s were safe either.

I think Obama was a terrible president, and all criticism should be legal. But there shouldn’t be a double standard either. It’s stuff like this that makes it harder to be critical of those who run the country.

The other day when I read about I was sitting there thinking about how bad of an idea it is for her to do this. Because it opens a whole can of crap that she will now have to deal with and it just further deepens the Epstein problem.
