The "Night of Lights" dream - anyone have it?
#1
I've read a few accounts of this phenomena called "Night of Lights" - a lucid dream that happens sometimes after a first sighting, encounter, or even spontaneously.

I had this dream twice, the first time back in 1997 or so.

The sky is filled with strange craft, there's a moment of being blown away by the sight - my dream included running with other people away from some of these craft, hiding under bridges and whatever cover we could find.

I didn't know or recognize the people I was with, but did what I could to keep up with them and help keep them going.

The main focus is the sky though, filled with hovering ships. Anyone ever have this dream, or have an encounter that triggered the dream?

Well yeah, but different. I was awake as far as I could tell.

From an early age, I've had this thing that happens to me when I am very sick, seeing things. Probably something like delirium.

I was 5 or 6 and had Measles. That was before measles vaccines were readily available. People called Measles, Mumps, Chicken Pox, and German Measles childhood diseases. I freaking caught them all as a kid. I would have preferred vaccinations.

So anyway it was nighttime. I was in bed not sleeping because of the itches and such. I looked toward the window and saw many small lights. They moved toward each other and started connecting with light beams. Eventually, there was a whole huge space station that I was looking at.

If you are familiar with Tinkertoys or Erector Sets, it was like that. More like Tinkertoys. The round hubs would be the original lights and the sticks would be the connecting light beams.

I'm thinking that it was probably a 15 minute hallucination rather than a dream. Pretty sure that it was not objectively real 'cus it was really freaking huge and there's no way it could have been hidden from 2 or 3 military bases within 20 miles.
There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people. - Commander William Adama

I have had "The Procession of UFOs" dream.. which was always somewhat lucid feeling.

I lived in a more rural foothills area and I would walk outside. There was a hill that blocked the property from city lights but they'd come from the south over the hill one by one.

They were all abstract too.

Some would look like power plants, some would look like movie spaceships. And there was an ominous feeling. It was the correct yard  looking at the correct hill only with a parade of crazy highly illuminated slowly moving building craft in the sky.

Recurrence a few times. Not in years though.
