March Madness Rant

I post this same rant every year ....

I hate March  Madness.

Basketball is BORING.   

And the tv showing tons and tons of it disrupts my regular TV viewing.

Young and Restless is pre-empted.   TBS with Big Bang Theory is pre-empted.   

My TV viewing is screwed up for a week.

Yeah yeah .. I watch too much tv ... but I"m 'older' and that's what I do now ... Go to daily mass/rosary, walk the dog, and watch a lot of TV.

I don't begrudge anyone their own particular athletic sport to fawn over...

I just resent the idea that my NOT being interested is some kind of social deficiency on my part.

I actually like basketball... just hated it when money became the blatant metric of glory.

Can't stand the announcers, infographics and commercials.

Might actually watch if it was just a straight camera feed of the game with stadium sound only.

Nah, maybe not.
