This is the kind of kid who I would like to see join a community such as ours, if he is not already here. He is seeking like minded souls to come together for intellectual and honest dialogue without the fear of those who would ignorantly shame such a mind for seeking understanding between different  peoples, beliefs, and cultures.

These are the hallmarks of a mind liberated from darkness and willing to learn new things even if it may lead to conflicts with established understandings or beliefs. The kid if full of energy and excited about what he is learning. If he is not careful, he will make the wrong enemies and they will send him temptations to devastate his world. This may have already begun and explains why he is starting to cover his face and post less on the internet, as he himself explained above.

I recommend Christians who love the Holy Bible to at least also give the Nag Hammadi a read as well. It is not nearly as long, and includes teachings more in line with Orthodox Christianity in contrast to ever evolving dogmas of the Catholic Church. People should want all of the knowledge, not just one part of it.

I am going to reach out to this kid. He is a sign of the possibilities with the new generation, and the last thing we need is for someone to Charlie Kirk him.

All the Abrahamic religions point toward a life of humility, moral responsibility, and a relationship with God.

They differ profoundly on what that actually means in practice, all the same.

Suffice to say, they share the same melody but sing different lyrics.
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

Appreciate the replies and I hope everyone actually watches the documentary before replying.

It's admittedly a difficult one as live satellite feeds from Saudi Arabia are telling youngsters in British mosques to do some truly horrendous things to innocent people.

I first came across this programme on '100 Documentaries You Need To Watch Before You Die' and have never forgot it.

Especially as there is hardly any commentary and it's all 'in their own words'.

Bravo to the individual who went undercover and exposed all this 'religious hatred'.

Personally feel that people need to be protected from religion (and not the other way around).

Cheers.

You are accurate in that this is certainly from the horse's mouth of Arab Wahhabism Islam which is what  so many of the radicals adhere to. It is the form essentially overrunning certain European societies. Goddamn allies we got huh?? However, you will notice this is not Iranian Muslims, or Indonesian, or Indian Muslims who are preaching this particular flavor. It is primarily Arab, and mostly originating from the KSA and the Madrassas that follow them. In case you forgot the top four largest populations by nation are in Asia. Bangladesh, India,  Indonesia  and Pakistan.

I would certainly be wary of the populations you bring a lense to in these videos, and I suspect considering how old that video looks  based on the recording source that  some  or many  may have  already run into the consequences of their radicalization regarding national security. But that is not a plurality of the individuals who practice no more than Christians who used to protest and say the horrible things at Veterans funerals or participated in bomb attacks on abortion clinics.

These particular folks must not be trusted. But these particular folks primarily originate from one of our finest economic allies in the Middle East. Just make sure your crosshairs are on the right target, and your not just bombing whole cities indiscriminately over a disagreement in faith practices. (that is a metaphor, not literal)

I do not understand what the translation of the Qoran has anything to do with this ongoing discussion. Just as religious leaders in the past have always done, they tell the followers what their books say and mean instead of what they actually say and mean.

All organized religions do this. It is not about the books, although they manipulate them also. It is about the word of mouth from the perceived authority figures, no matter if they are following their religions belief system or not.

Islam might work as written, but not as interpreted by those in power. In this case, the power of blabbing to the whole world on the internet.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

I certainly appreciate and agree with your post mate.

As for the documentary film makers they went back a few years later to see if anything had changed.

'In their own words' it hadn't.

If anything it was a lot worse lol.

Cheers.
