Ley lines

The ley lines are said to be powerful channels of energy that connect places of ancient and primordial significance all across the country.

I would love to discuss this and learn more.  What role did energy play in these cultures, what are the myths?  Much of "ancient" knowledge was bastardized and surviving text on things like electricity or magnetic fields would have been seen as heretical when found and burned.  By association this information would have been passed to spiritual leaders and "interpreted".

Thornborough henge, The great pyramid complex in Egypt, and others one in China and one in Mexico line up with Orion. They are also placed on ley lines I’ve heard, but it would be hard to verify that because ley lines are not actually straight lines. The real ones are supposed to be like the earths nervous system, teluric currents and they are wavy and rambling. But some do travel more or less in straight lines.

If you can douse it’s possible to detect them. Or so I’ve heard

I heard about ley lines first in the 90's and it seemed kind of whacked to me, mostly becasue I had a beautifully crafted antique globe of the earth as a toy and could look for myself and explored it regularly.

NOW Mr Budgie's thread on easter island had me do a google image search on ley lines. I don't know if it's playing too much KSP, or watching rockets all the time, but they sure look allot like orbital paths.

ps. still seems whacky  Biggrin but since there are so many some might lead to something interesting

Might be worth reading about geomancy and a bit dowsing. There was a book called Healing sick houses: dowsing for healthy homes which had practical info about dowsing and energy lines, it had a healing method that involved pinning energy lines to help improve them which was a lot like acupuncture for the land.

Not exactly leylines but it's all apparently interrelated, I got consistent results when I experimented with dowsing, I basically asked a few people to walk a line with dowsing rods (with no prior info or knowledge) and the rods crossed on the exact same spot. There's pendulum dowsing too but I've never dabbled.

I once measured this: The shortest line from Riyadh to Teotihuacan runs through New York City, Washington DC, Mobile Alabama, Boston, Stone Henge, and some really dicey parts of southern Ireland that a friend of mine said were pretty terrifying. That may be a ley line. The way cities and sites get lined up on this path might mean something. And why did they put Riyadh way out in the middle of the desert along this line anyway. Seems weird.

I apologize, in advance, for this exercise of consideration...

It may be influenced by ignorance, misunderstanding, or bias... I'll call it, opinion.

So let's assume that what we call "ley lines" actually exists.

They seem straight.... insofar as the surface our world is conceived.

Lore tells us they are a 'forever' thing.

Presumably it has always been so, (in past estimation,) AND thus ever will be.

But the planet's surface is now understood to be plastic... it molds and flows, it moves...

Perhaps not perceptible over a few generations, but not forever... if thy earth moves... the maps may be wrong, no?

They don't line up with Orion. Nor do Mexico and Giza line up with each other either. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c...500_BC.png. You might want to look at which way they are oriented on the ground -   Giza Mexico

Yeah but Orion moves about in the sky, not just by the time of year, also precessional.
It’s the curious offset of the smaller pyramid or mound that they all have in common and gives us the clue.

David Icke put me on to Ley lines with his book "Truth Vibrations" way back in the 90s.
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."
