It’s being reported now that he had a traumatic brain injury while deployed. His ex girlfriend said it changed him and that’s why she broke up with him. Maybe he just had a screw loose.
That's my take on him too, PTSD, guilt, and depression from the break up (?). His email ends on a positive note stating that the Trump, Musk and Kennedy hegemony wave should be ridden, yet he decides not to ride it? Does not compute, unless it was sarcasm or I am not getting the context.

After reading the analysis of the email, I think it is a hoax, but done by a gov agency or another internet weirdo, I don't know.
The initial manifesto seems legitimate though.
A lot of us have the same thoughts: weak leadership, loss of virtue and masculinity in society, vacuous culture, loss of purpose or spirituality. etc.
The email however, blabbing about gravitic (sic) propulsion ,China, and drones , is totally out of left field and does not even jive with his job description nor interests, let alone motivation for blowing himself up, if he even did.

He posts details of his first car, to establish that it's him, but seemingly gets it wrong.

Correct; in the email he posts bona fides that are not actually accurate. But the manifesto seems fitting.

The FBI has more information not yet released to the public.
Quote:At the press conference, authorities also said they uncovered a six-page document, or manifesto, that they have not yet released because they’re working with Defense Department officials since some of the material could be classified.
They added that they still have to review contents on a laptop, mobile phone and smartwatch. Among the items they did release Tuesday was a journal Livelsberger kept titled "surveillance" or "surveil" log. It showed that he believed he was being tracked by law enforcement, but he had no criminal record and was not on the police department or the FBI’s "radar," McMahill said.
Livelsberger’s letters touched on political grievances, societal problems and domestic and international issues, including the war in Ukraine. He wrote that the U.S. was "terminally ill and headed toward collapse."

I have also been learning about neo-nazi groups specifically targeting vets for recruitment, so there is that to consider. However, I don't yet see any leanings that way, but then that 6-page manifesto has not been released yet.
As for Livelsberger emailing podcaster Shawn Ryan, well that's a whole other rabbit hole full of conspiracy theories.
So, is it really difficult to understand that someone suffering with PTSD, guilt and dealing with, or not dealing with, their emotions and depression after a relationship breakup, and perhaps believing in these types of conspiracy theories (without proof), would be overwhelmed and become unhinged?

If he was overwhelmed and unhinged it took the form of cold calculation, planning and mediation. He also made sure he got the outcome he wanted.
Sometimes things justifiably pisses a bloke off and it's more like a broken heart than a crazy cook running around. The whole story should be investigate to the full extent and I'm sure it is.

We are not qualified to judge why he chose this way to commit suicide, but one thing for sure is that his ex-girlfriend says everyone failed him, including the military.
His ex-girlfriend states the following:
Quote:“The FBI came to my door and told me. I found out from them. That was awful, watching somebody I love burn alive,” Arritt said tearfully.

So, it appears he burned to death in that Tesla, does it not? How is that anywhere near a cold calculation suicide, to me, reading about his actions beforehand, it's twisted?

There was no judgment from me. What I was trying to say is it should all be investigated by authorities because we don't know, even if it just takes 5min for some of the stuff.
Did he actually burn alive, I thought he shot himself and the truck was on autopilot? Burning alive is a bit much.

Well that's what was said by his ex-girlfriend after she met with the FBI.
