Funny story about languages and how they change.
I was sitting outside having coffee and doing my Duolingo Spanish lesson a few years ago and my neighbour’s very attractive wife was walking by. I was reading back “Necesito mi chaqueta” (I need my jacket) when she stopped, turned bright red and said “No, no, no! Please don’t say that here in Mexico!!” And then I learned that Chaqueta is Spanish for Jacket, but in Mexico it means to masturbate!!! Funny and embarrassing, but a good example of how the language changes. Mexicans use a lot of slang and regional variations exist. For instance the word Nango is used in the state of Colima which borders Jalisco state, where it is not used. Nango means moron so my buddy and I call each other Pinche Nango. Fucking moron. In Jalisco they would say Pinche pendejo (fucking asshole). Anyhow, just say Jacket when you’re in Mexico or you will get some odd looks. My 2 pesos… Tecate
If it’s hot, wet and sticky and it’s not yours, don’t touch it!

Haha it's like carrying a fanny pack in England. Or Brits smoking a fag.
* As a British citizen I have a f-word pass. Do not try this at home.

Some advice for tourists visiting London:
https://www.siliconglen.scot/jokes/tourists.html Eg: "One of the most delightful ways to spend an afternoon in Oxford or Cambridge is gliding gently down the river in one of their flat-bottomed boats, which you propel using a long pole. This is known as "cottaging". Many of the boats (called "yer-i-nals") are privately owned by the colleges, but there are some places that rent them to the public by the hour. Just tell a professor or policeman that you are interested in doing some cottaging and would like to know where the public yerinals are. The poles must be treated with vegetable oil to protect them from the water, so it's a good idea to buy a can of Mazola and have it on you when you ask directions to the yerinals. That way people will know you are an experienced cottager."
