Edit Reason: Checked poll source, latest link added. I give up on grammar.

"Christina, Christian, Christina, Lesbian Lesbian Lesbian." "STOP! You're gonna summon lesbian firefighters!" I don't think many people that would listen to the pundits he was criticizing watched that, and if they did the mirror effect may infuriate them, or at least cause a recoil response. Don't worry, in hypothetical land, we'll be gone soon enough. All we need is 584,000 signatures and Calexit is on the 2028 ballot. And while that seems ridiculous, it really does look like we'll be voting on secession the same year we host the Olympics. What a global stage. The rest of the world might ALSO support that after 4 years of Trump reshaping America. As of now it's support is at 60% to leave in next 10 years and over 65% feel more Californian than American. The GOP response Jon Stewart just ran through is largely a reason why it might go somewhere this time. It still won't in any reality, but if it did, we could transition birthright migrant children without parental consent all we want! But until then, we just identify as an independent country.

Calexit would make a lot of people happy, on either side of the aisle, but it would never be allowed cuz money/power/corruption/ the Feds. California is where all the Chinese slush money and cheap goods come from/through. The one big loss to it's prestige was the propaganda arm of the MIC, Hollywood, largely being made redundant by other locations/media/studios.

They'll never let us go.
But this going to really shape how we'll do states rights. Of those who do politics, It really does break down to 65% are like me and support throwing up ever state obstacle, and 35% are working more amicably with the orders. Some police departments will not assist in raids, some will. Elsewhere, while the country may stop the woke stuff, we will continue to fund it. If anything it's going to shift the two parties into different parts of that political quadrant. The left seems to be sliding around the spectrum with the right. Like if Trump moves above states rights into the absolute ruler area (euphemism for the dictator part of the spectrum), the left will move into states rights at a point lower and closer to the center line. |
