Do you understand your argument is based of a lie.
Where your just rambling empty emotional politicians words compared to the established legal precedent that an employer has the right to control “the free speech” of their employees when they represent their employer.
The FCC does have the authority to regulate and license broadcasters.

This is not Disney's first rodeo with the Trump administrations overreach.
"The Nexstar/Tegna merger is technically illegal, violating current FCC ownership caps. Therefore, for the deal to go through, it requires significant regulatory approval from the FCC and the DOJ.
Nexstar is not the only company with billions of dollars on the line that needs the FCC’s approval. Disney is also facing headwinds from the Trump Administration over its proposed deal with the NFL, but Disney has given in to the administration before.
This is not Disney’s first time giving in to the Trump Administration. In early August, Disney settled its lawsuit with former Mandalorian star Gina Carano, but the timing baffled outsiders. However, it all made perfect sense."

Quote:US President Donald Trump has suggested some TV networks should have their licences "taken away".
"I have read some place that the networks were 97% against me, again, 97% negative, and yet I won and easily [in last year's election]," the president said.
"They give me only bad publicity [and] press. I mean, they're getting a licence. I would think maybe their licence should be taken away."

Jimmy Kimmel’s ratings spike was short-lived.
After an about-face from Disney, the liberal comedian returned last Tuesday, and Kimmel’s emotional return drew a massive audience, but viewers haven’t stuck around.
On Thursday, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" averaged 2.3 million total viewers — a staggering 64% drop from the 6.5 million who tuned in for Tuesday’s much-hyped return.
Kimmel shed even more viewers in the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults aged 25-54, with Thursday’s episode hemorrhaging 73% of viewers from the critical category.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" pulled in 1.7 million viewers among the key demo for Tuesday’s return but plummeted to 465,000 only 48 hours later.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" also lost significant viewers in the younger demographic of adults aged 18-49, managing 1.2 million on Tuesday but quickly losing 73% to settle for only 334,000 on Thursday.

I’m sure he still thinks his non apology was worth it, giving the finger to half the country and all.
What a loser.

Where it was an obvious lie Kimmel had to be fired for Disney to get its merger.
Where Kimmel claimed something that had zero basis to incite and smear. You can argue all you want, but Kimmel lied to incite.
Where if Trump wanted to really control political speech instead of tired lies…. He would have pulled out a Biden play.

You ignored the history of libs in the USA trying to kill debate and deplatform political speech they don’t like. While you die on a hill for Trump going after a whiny lying liberal?

YouTube banned him because of Jan. 6 and they were right to do so. They now will pay him his paltry $24 million because they now want the upcoming elections to have a fair debating field. They were right to ban him, today is a new day.
These platforms make their own decisions as they see fit and can change with the direction of the social media wind and staying on top of the game, like Meta and Dell. It's not about Trump being right. It's about money. That also applies to Disney and all their associates.

We knew you had it in you to just come out with it, proud of you for finally owning up to the hypocrisy.
Now take that same energy and apply it to Kimmel, do you still feel he was wronged by the NETWORK, not Trump, taking him off the air?
