**Snipped -- Manners Violation**

Asked you a question.  Kimmel very clearly pointed to what group he thought was responsible for Kirk being murder.  Where Kimnel couldn’t even use the correct term of murder.  Kimmel very clearly made a statement pointing the finger at what group he thought the murder belong to.  If it wasn’t MAGA, the what group was Kimmel invoking in Kirk’s murder.

He is now in the position to do it again, and again, and again if he so chooses.

Then affiliates will pull the show to protect themselves from liable, and ABC will lose advertisers revenue.  Then Kimmel will probably be suspended until his contract runs out.  If the stockholders are really pissed, they will vote to fire him and eat the cost of the contract.

There is no obligation by the affiliates to air Kimmel if they need to protect themselves from liable.

And yet he wasn’t restricted from his own social media and kept quiet.  Hmmm. Probably because he knows Disney isn’t going to provide him lawyers.

I mentioned it to ANNEE, I offered you nothing.

We'll see

That was semi-sarcastic though.

Like 60 minutes response post lawsuit.

He'll return with a black eye and a limp and tell everybody how wrong he was.

He could double down though, I think more people would like that anyway. May do a shtick where we comes back in bandages?

He just cant speak in affirmation of truth. I think Rush Limbaugh showed that all you really have to do is phrase accusations in a question.

Like he can say, "How do we know the shooter wasn't blah blah?"

Slander and libel is pretty easy to avoid.

Poll:

1. Will Jimmy Kimmel apologize sincerely?
2. If no, will he "take it up a notch?"

Wanna bet Kimmel offers the most hollow apology on his return?

If he was truly funny, he'd wear a MAGA hat

But I do like that your posts tend to be logical.

Why, thank you, Annee, it's ok to disagree

more tolerant, more logical, and we would all be better off.

I still find it interesting that Kimmel had access to social media but seemed to lose his boldness when suspended.

I’m going with he’ll say some off color comment starting with in my opinion, then move on.

The interest is if his contact gets renewed.

That's more like you, semi-sarcastic. I was wondering if you were okay. lol

The affiliates to protect themselves under the advisement team of lawyers didn’t agree with you and pulled the episode to protect themselves from liable. I’m sure affiliates are under some obligation to play the programming unless it opens them up to lawsuits.  Risk vs benefit.
