Jimmy Kimmel pulled from the air over false comment about Kirk murder

What makes someone like him with his MAGA and Christian upbringing do something like this? That's what we will find out from the psychologists at the court trial.

You believe the assasin is apolitical? And you want to be taken serious?

Everyone here can believe what they want and I don't need you or anyone else to reply with insults. Go join those that have an echo chamber breadcrumb following so you can feel better.

This German poem is become more and more relevant with what's going on in America these days?? Shocked

Quote:First they came for the communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

This isn't your parents generation.

Leaked Chats Show Alleged Kirk Killer ‘Doesn’t Fit Into Any Tidy Narrative’“He wasn’t a Groyper. He also wasn’t Antifa,” said journalist Ken Klippenstein, who obtained Tyler Robinson’s Discord messages and spoke with a childhood friend of the 22-year-old suspect.

I've been following Jimmy since 1997 when he was on "Win Ben Stein's Money".  He's always had a boyish charm about him -- and he's never been extreme.  He says he's been fired a lot.  I speculate that some think he's gullible and not going to fight back.

Good to hear so many people speaking up -- because he did not go over the line.

I hope he tells them to go pound sand.

Everyone is saying, to the effect that, 'that's Jimmy' or 'that's what Jimmy does'.

I mean his contract would have been up shortly any way, and he has a few invites in the offering.

But this whole thing seems to have escalated into something bigger as in a violation of his free speech rights.

Maybe Jimmy's destiny is to be the hero for the downtrodden late night hosts (?)

Here's Colbert's take on it.

No that is made up garbage by you.

These are the facts…
Disney’s Bob Iger and Dana Walden wanted to know how Kimmel was going to address the situation.
Sources say he planned to defend what he said rather than "kowtowing” to the outrage.
Disney thought that would fan the flames.
Bye Felicia.

Trump and the FCC had zero to do with it.
A network isn’t going to cancel a hit show unless the network itself wants the show canceled.
Kimmel was already a goner.

I just read that ABC is asking him back but with conditions? They must be running scared of something, like maybe a lawsuit?

Did you enjoy Kimmels blackface and girls on trampolines too?
Boyish charm indeed.

Fun fact: I attended Ben Steins class. He’s just as awesome not on TV.

Lawsuit for what?

Kimmel didn’t get fired.
