Jimmy Kimmel pulled from the air over false comment about Kirk murder

 What makes someone like him with his MAGA and Christian upbringing do something like this? 

Lame attempt to put the blame on MAGA.
His parents being MAGA didn't indoctrinate him.
He was registered to no party and didn't vote.
It was only in the past year that he developed strong political feelings.
And it was all left wing.
What makes someone like him commit murder .... he was unhinged and 
seeped in left wing political ideology which is inherently violent against
those who disagree with them.

He's hardcore left and can't handle that someone with leftist ideologies murdered an innocent man.
So he's desperate to cover it up.

The debates were simply performances, and he could not have an entertaining public fight without opposition. 

I've seen a couple of those "debate" performances.
That's why I'm boycotting* live debates.

People can just blurt any old claim out with no references or footnotes or citations or anything. Then somebody is supposed to refute it, again with no references or charts or mechanism for fact checking. That format is useless.

Real debates take a long time to prepare for, with notes, bibliographies, and such. That's why I never joined a debate team in school.

NEWS Disney’s CEO Bob Iger and co-chair Dana Walden made the decision to suspend Jimmy Kimmel’s show after he planned to double down and go on camera to defend his lie that MAGA voters killed Charlie Kirk rather than "kowtow” to the outrage, Hollywood Reporter reports. They yanked him because they “thought that would fan the flames” as Nexstar and Sinclair affiliates dropped him. “The advertiser calls began to roll in and then the big affiliate conglomerates, Nexstar and Sinclair, threatened to preempt the show.” This is market reaction, and not tied to FCC chair Brendan Carr’s actions. Kimmel even planned to double down and not apologize after “Disney employees saw their emails doxxed..some even received death threats.” When “66 of the roughly 200 affiliate stations had said they would” drop him, that’s when Iger and Walden pulled the plug.

Defense attorneys keep track of what gets released to the public through law enforcement. Then they move to have such evidence stricken before jury hears it. That's why public media trials and court trials are so different, and there are many facts that the public will never know.
