Jimmy Kimmel pulled from the air over false comment about Kirk murder

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said. “In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving.”

They didn't like "MAGA gang". Why he just didn't call it the cult that it is is beyond me?

Nexstar Media Group (which owns many ABC affiliate stations) said it would pre-empt Jimmy Kimmel Live!...  i.e. stop airing it  on its 32 ABC affiliates “for the foreseeable future.

Following the pressure, ABC (owned by Disney) announced that Jimmy Kimmel Live! would be suspended indefinitely. 

It was an cause-and-effect chain... a de facto unofficial agreement...
