Internet mystery: Forgotten Languages

In taking FL post here seriously & having seen the moniker "Danubian" used with a alien slant yrs ago went off to fresh my memory. Don't recall "Giselians" but since archeology was cited started with it. Scanned the above paper an didn't find much unusual. 

While I'm not going to dismiss things on odd provenence grounds, do have a opinion. 

There is "something" very very off about the material. 
Have looked at it twice now both times "spidey red flags" of my intuition went wild. Best I got is it's coded esoteric info designed to lure you in but with a nasty hook to some extremely dark stuff.

On par with the "feel" of old Summerian Snake type ceremonial religious practices.

Of course I have no hard evidence for this, just gut intuition. Equally I'm not naysaying that trying to unrat the material is "the highway to hell" or cast dispersions. Just saying this puzzle strikes me as being booby trapped with something nasty for those who get deep into it.
So my opinion is just cautionary.

No offense taken ofc! A few people have felt the same way and personally, I don't know where I'm at with what it could be. I alternate between a group of language nerds (used affectionately ) ala the CCRU in their writings (techno-fiction, hyperstition) to some secret government group coming up with new encryption methods to a cult that doesn't want any new members lol. I have no idea!

Here's a little more about the CCRU which has been linked to FL through association: "One of the CCRU's predominant ideas is hyperstition, which Nick Land referred to as "the experimental (techno-)science of self-fulfilling prophecies" where by means of esoteric cybernetic principles, certain ideas and beliefs that are initially incomprehensible (akin to superstitions) can covertly circulate through reality and establish cultural feedback loops that then drastically meld society, which they also referred to in total as "cultural production."

You might not like this, but my initial feeling is that it's a LARP (Live Action Role Play)

Byrd It very well could be! The things that make it strange for a LARP are the lack of advertising, the lack of financial incentive, and the fact that the blog has been going for 16 years with daily posts. Cicada makes sense as a LARP since they were actively trying to recruit people, but FL has taken no such action. They seem to not really care if you look at their stuff or not. That doesn't mean it isn't a larp, but it just makes me wonder.

The fact that it's on a virtually unknown website argues strongly for being the product of one person. 

A true secret society isn't going to dump "teasing" information on the web.  They'd use Discord or Mucks (text based chat) or any other of a thousand other ways to fly under the radar.  This is crafted to grab the attention of a few folks.  The fact that someone presented it to Congress suggests that the presenter is either the hoaxer or someone who didn't stop and think about it carefully.

If you're putting up material to change society, putting it on a website is absurd.  You'd want to build up a lot of hype and (since this is fairly old) back then you'd have done it through concerts and other public events.  Not "toss mysterious language in an occasionally updated blog."

It could be someone who is "channeling" something from their imagination.  That's highly likely.

A linguistics group would have gone into long discussions about roots, endings, tenses, gendering, participles, whether it should be SVO or VSO or OSV and other weird stuff like that, and the posts would be dense with linguistic terms.

So... either a "channeled piece" or a hoax.  IMHO.
