People running away from their problems is the opposite of solving problems. It's not cruel to think that those fleeing their own countries should stand and fight where they are. It's how our country was created. Many fought and died. Many risked starvation, disease, and death to build our country.
If others want what we have they should do as we did and fix things where they are. It is the only true solution to their problems. We can best help them as advisors while they free their own countries. We can help them far more that way, than if we bankrupt ourselves by paying for those who ran, rather than fighting for their own futures.
People are always threatening to leave the US when things don't go their way. They never follow through on their childish tantrums, however, as there simply is not a better country to go to.
No government can stand up to a united people, period end of subject. These people coming here can and should be freeing themselves and fixing their own countries.
