IDF targets Hamas leaders in Qatar
Quote:BreakThrough News
@BTnewsroom
BREAKING: Israel bombed Hamas negotiators in Doha, Qatar as they gathered to discuss Trump’s “ceasefire” proposal — a deal so thin it now looks like bait. A Hamas official told Al Jazeera the talks were a trap, recalling Trump’s use of nuclear negotiations with Iran to target its leaders. Israel has confirmed that the White House was notified in advance. Qatar, which hosts the US military's Central Command, condemned the Israeli strike, which
leaves any future ceasefire talks in serious doubt.

Trump told them, final warning.

Play terrorist games, win terrorist prizes.
Word is Hamas leadership isn’t answering their phones.
Maybe they should reach out to them via pager. Too soon? LoL

HAMAS leadership that had no trouble sending others to die while they themselves lived in luxury and safety. SURPRISE! Things have changed.

Hamas says five of its members were killed in Israeli attack on Doha ByREUTERSHamas said on Tuesday that five of its members had been killed in an Israeli attack in Doha, including the son of Hamas's exiled Gaza chief Khalil al-Hayya.
But it said Israel had failed in what it called an attempt to assassinate the group's ceasefire negotiation team.
Earlier, Hamas political bureau member Suhail al-Hindi told Al Jazeera TV that the group's top leadership had survived the Israeli attack

Really? Trump tells it differently. BBC
Quote:More now from that new Trump statement.
He makes clear the decision to strike the Hamas leaders in Doha was "made by Prime Minister Netanyahu, it was not a decision made by me".
The US president says bombing a "Sovereign Nation and close Ally" of the US, "that is working very hard and bravely taking risks with us to broker Peace, does not advance Israel or America's goals".
However, eliminating Hamas, who have profited off the misery of those living in Gaza, is a worthy goal, he adds.
After learning of the Israeli attack, Trump says he "immediately directed" US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to "inform the Qataris of the impending attack" - but adds that it was "too late to stop the attack".
I wish there was better news, but Hamas is claiming there leader survived the attack.

Qatar has condemned the attack at Doha as cowardly and a criminal assault, constituting a blatant violation of all international laws and norms. They have also condemned Israels attacks on Syria saying Israel have recklessly undermined security across the region.
Iran has said Trump helped Israel set another trap, Trump has blamed Netanyahu who has said Israel acted alone. Jordan has denied Israel used their airspace.
Moderates Egypt, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates have also spoken out against the attack at Doha, as have Turkey, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Iran, the Arab League and the UN. Western leaders, Macron, Starmer and the Whitehouse have said the attack risks security in the region
Israel claims Yemen are initiating counter attacks
I do not care what Israel's grievance is with Hamas, Israel has no right to enter another sovereign nation to drop bombs. Neither Qatar nor Syria are legitimate targets in Israel's war on Hamas, it is a disgrace and moral outrage. I sense that Netanyahu is aware he and Israel are losing hearts and minds, even amoungst their own people and are looking at escalating to the point another gulf state directly attacks them, crank up their propaganda machines to reestablish and elicit further international support.
Wonder what will happen with the price of oil and knock on effects across the markets.
