I wish this was real

The "challenge" is to spend X amount of time with no internet, no phone, no Human contact. This one says 38 days and if it was real, I'd be packing my fishing gear, some books and tell my Wife "I'll see ya in a few weeks. Start thinkin' how we're gonna spend that money".

Hell, I'd do 2 of these a year and really cash in.

I'll admit, I'm a bit of an introvert. It's normal for me to go a couple of weeks at a time with no Human contact other than my Wife and it doesn't bother me at all. I PREFER to be alone. Chatting on the internet is just a way to pass the time, but I've got plenty of books and there's a river and several lakes near me to go fishing. My phone is on my bedside table and I couldn't tell you the last time I used it. Believe it or not, I haven't checked my e mail in about a year. It's just not how I communicate, so being without all that is just normal for me.

I did it once for almost 30 days... (27 ish)

Yes... thinking takes on a new format... inner narratives can seem to stop happening.

But to be fair, it was interrupted by short late night trips to a library...
a huge library devoid of people...
I was in heaven.  Smile

Something like this would be just perfect for finally finishing my great treatise on the dangers of liberalism and technology.
