Hello all!
Despite my username, I am staring down the barrel of birthday #60 (I was a still youthful 39 yrs old when I joined ATS - it's been a rough 10 years!)

I do a lot more reading than posting these days, and have a deep appreciation for a great many longtime members of ATS, many of whom seem not to be around there much anymore...

I joined [Rule 26] during one of the ATS 'glitches', but I find it a bit overwhelming 'user-wise' so not sure how often I'll 'visit' here -

When I was twenty five, you would have still have been jailbait.  You aren't old yet, you're not even old enough to get a senior discount at most places.

I'm 68, and don't measure anything in years anymore     Welcome aboard.  You will see many familiar faces here, and a bunch of friends yet unmet!   

I strive for noncrankiness, but hey, it happens.  No biggie.   You have earned the right to your occasional crankiness.   I once considered putting up a sign in our yards that read, "Get off my lawn!!" except that I didn't really think most people that read it would understand the humor.   So it goes.

That was perfect and funny as hell!!   I can just see Mick prancing around singing that.   A comedian -- I forget who -- once characterized him as looking like a rooster on acid.      I have yuge respect for the Stones.  Really good stroke, Swampbuck. - 1( ).   I'm betting you know exactly what I mean by that last smilie.
