Hello all!
Despite my username, I am staring down the barrel of birthday #60 (I was a still youthful 39 yrs old when I joined ATS - it's been a rough 10 years!)

I do a lot more reading than posting these days, and have a deep appreciation for a great many longtime members of ATS, many of whom seem not to be around there much anymore...

I joined Rogue Nation during one of the ATS 'glitches', but I find it a bit overwhelming 'user-wise' so not sure how often I'll 'visit' here -

- But, I am grateful for the opportunity to join the "Deny Ignorance" forum and thank you to KKLOCO from ATS for the link over there, which brought me here.

Age is just a number, but....

When I was 30 if I looked at a picture of my current 59-year-old self I would have likely both laughed and cried. Like I do as I look in the mirror every morning. I then pluck the overnight growth of nose and ear hairs and gleefully try and go about my day....

Took me a bit to catch on ATS had left us and find this place. Came to say hey lost girl!  Hoping to find other old friends here. Pushing 63 these days myself. Was a member of ATS since 2007, tho hadn’t been active in a while. I miss the archive of vast info.

I can't remember how long I was on ATS, must have been about 20 years. Just turned 61, and I'm looking better than 30 years ago. The full gray beard I started growing since the pandemic looks great when trimmed, I'm looking like a kind of a Tom Hanks in Castaway with a little Sean Connery happening. I do alright flirting with the younger gals still, but at my age, dirty jokes don't work anymore, they just make me a dirty old man now.

Thought I'd add it took me most of those 61 years to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up, BREW BEER! Growing my own hops and barley and been brewing beer for four years now. Brewing beer from the basics I produced myself, all is now right in the world now that I'm an old guy.
