Keep in mind Travis Walton’s testimony. He said that when he was taken on board the ship, they were originally greys. Then, when they saw he was distressed, they all the sudden became tall whites, presumably to calm him down. 

The fact is, we were designed with no firewalls for our brain - on purpose. Which makes us incredibly susceptible to psychic manipulation. Were they greys or tall whites or simply altering perception?

No that isn't quite true. Travis originally saw small greys in the room he woke up in. They sent a human looking guy that found him. He saw 2 distinct races of humanoids is what he said. Not he saw one thing, then changed story to be just human looking aliens. Two different types on board is what he said. Tons of reports also have the same situation, more than one type of creature on a ship.  Like snakes on a plane maybe.
