Hulk Hogan, WWE legend, dead at 71

I was never a big fan of wrestling, it's just too fake. Of course, I knew who Hulk Hogan was. I wonder who will be next. They say these things come in 3.

Quote:A “cardiac arrest” call was placed and medics were sent to Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Fla, TMZ reports.
He was stretchered into an ambulance.
Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, rose to prominence in the 1980s with his All-American “Hulkamania” persona and helped transform WWE, then known as the WWF, into a national powerhouse.

This is awful news. That's now 3.
“The American press is a shame and a reproach to a civilized people. When a man is too lazy to work and too cowardly to steal, he becomes an editor and manufactures public opinion.”
― William T. Sherman

Threes huh?

We had Ozzie, now Hulk, so it's either DeNiro or Joe Biden... Joe Biden will always be next on the list it seems. De Niro is 81 and hasn't been seen much these days plus both Ozzie and Hulk were in the Entertainment industry so it kind of makes sense.

I'll discount Malcom since he drown and it seems to be an accident, while both Ozzie and Hulk seem to have old age as part of the equation.

That's the three ... celebrity deaths happen in packs of three.

Theo from the Cosby Show.
Ozzy Osborn.
Hulk Hogan.

Strange 24 hours it’s been.  I think he dated Cyndi Lauper back in the eighties

IF we are going by the 2 with old age, (and health issues), my concern is Willie being next.

RIP Hulk Hogan.

Grew up watching WWE.
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

I must say...

This man, and the character he crafted, will be for some great stretch of time, an icon.

Having only the media to rely upon, feels wrong.

I hope he lived a good life, among all that wondrous success.

Thanks man...

Bon voyage, and peace...

It's crazy, Hogan was just here in our hometown promoting his new beer. He seemed very energetic and was awesome with everyone who waited in line all day to meet him. Roids must have damaged his heart too much.
