well since this thread has wrapped up i will address the thread title and complain about audiobooks, especially how many books are now audible exclusive only no print edition. that is really annoying! i guess its a generational thing as many nongrey are used to "reading" books by listening on their phones while doing other things? which i just find really distracting and horrible as i read faster than people talk and its chipmonks if you speed it up. plus you cant like pause to contemplate or reread a goodbit. its also so strange that people can watch ticktocks with the obviously fake computer narration and not go aargh brainbleed.
all of that keeps people from reading. plus short attention span or hypono drone is not reading. bah i'm old.
here is book that peeved me off being audible only grr https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2193...nt-service
