Taxes are still coming out of my paycheck, mail is still running, people are still receiving welfare and SS, congress is still getting paid

The government is not shut down, the dems are throwing a fit because everyone else does not want to continue funding stupid bs. 

Trump needs to cut off all of their paychecks until they come up with a clean and cut CR, bet they pass something the day after their checks don't clear the bank.

Willfulness to not do your job, to allow protests and riots, should be grounds for immediate termination.

Well, as everyone is doing alright here, then it’s just political theater and such.

Politicians never do anything for anyone until it affects their bottom line. It’s the same the world over. 

The people really need to get rid of career politicians and get back to proper representation. I suspect that career civil servants have a very different view of that kind of change and the possibility of actual oversight of their activities and responsibilities though.
