How can I start seeing stuff again?

But yeah it's tempting to people to get the wow factor with the shortcuts  . But then you can't replicate it yourself.

More like yawn and sleep to me at the moment to be honest, I'm trying to do 2.5 breaths a minute while going zen and clearing everything until there is emptiness and try and stay there. breath in 6 seconds hold it 6 seconds, breath out 6 seconds, hold it 6 seconds. I start breathing like this on my own during sleep now, had confirmation. It's interesting very peaceful, it helps syncing heart beats and counting, some days I can slow my heartbeat way down. There is a trick to heat up the body temperature here and getting blood to flow to extremities. It gets weird after a couple of weeks, I think it's similar to the other method I posted where your subconscious gets baulked of fantasy. You start lucid dreaming but it's effortless since the dream state is immediately obvious..very useful in other ways also, because you know, you could just do the same stuff walking or standing, chilling looking at the sky, nature..i think there is a 6-4-6-6 variation also. I cheat the last cycle often and just see how long I can float empty of breath.

That's very cool that you are naturally getting into pranayama, really. I am doing a bit of that for my Gradework, but right now I am focussing on asana, I am up to 35 mins sitting still.  Of course I fidget a bit but it's mostly motionless, no standing up at least .

When I do pranayama it is the alternate nostril breathing.  I exhale 20 seconds left, inhale 10, hold for 5, exhale 20 seconds right, inhale 10, hold 5, switch.
You can get a lot of heat buildup in your chakras and also a thin film of sweat. Clear headed, sometimes floaty in a clean way.
The only thing I have discovered for me personally ni my body is not heartbeat control , havnet tried that, but kind of a 'inner relaxation' , sort of 'feeling your vagal nerve' and training your diaphragm in full tension and full relaxation , so thats interesting.

i like your technique, i will have to try it.

Asana's is difficult for me, my body is pretty broken. Snake mediation works i.e. rhythmic swaying, music helps but it can't be anything with understandable lyrics. I always cringe and try and help people with their music choices, but it's a lost cause.

Interesting about the alternate nostril breathing, I usually just use it for syncing brain hemispheres, so half-assed following the instructions as usual and doing my own thing. Will give it a better go.

The heartbeat trick is the same processes as what your supposed to go through with breathing exercises. First you must just become aware and not worry about control. When you breath in you constrict the space your heart has to work with so it beats faster, breathing out gives it space and it goes slower. It's all about the rhythms that get setup and the physical moving of air and blood and the movement you setup through all the bodies, I'm sure you know this stuff. Recently I have been pushing my aurora out in waves also, strange experience, peaceful.

There are some silly difficult postures in asana for sure, I just do the easiest one which is 'God posture' just sitting upright in a chair with legs straight ahead at right angles and back straight , hands on legs and no leaning back.  That's hard enough after a while!

I got drafted as a tech guy for a ghost hunting group for a few years.

saw a lot of things, recorded things…

I now believe the answers are more in science we don’t understand than ghosts.

don’t think we even know the right questions to ask.

but if you want to see things goto areas that people say things happen. I think there are areas where our current science doesn’t cover what happens. You will be able to see and record things.

thats What Skinwalker and beyond Skinwalker shows are doing on a big budget but you can get similar results on much smaller budget.

I managed to convince a friend of mine to join me at a ghost hunter's gathering at an extremely old pub in a city and we joined together to conjure up whatever could be conjured up. Nothing was conjured up but when I initially walked into the upper floor room, before anything started, I saw a swirling energy mass in the right hand corner but I said nothing about it to anyone.

After about 40 minutes, we all agreed that we failed at inviting the resident spirits, through a sort of seance-type connecting of each other, then someone chimed in and said when they walked in initially they saw a swirling energy mass and pointed to the same corner where I saw it. I then said that I saw it as well and the ghost hunters said that it has been reported previously.

So, yeah, it may be that some people are conduits to a realm that we don't understand or that most reject, rather than any science having to do with it.

I think these things have been seen through human history.

people just assign it whatever label they have based on their society and personal belief systems.

angels become djinn become ghosts become UFO’s become interdimensional creatures become… ???

every society has a short sighted know-it-all attitude, guess it’s human condition. Look at science 200 years ago, 1000 years ago… each age has their answers and we look back at how ‘ignorant’ they were.

200 years from know, or a thousand they will look back and say the same of us…

Or they may look back at us and say 'it was right in front of their third eyes yet they could not and/or refused to find out what it was'. Let's not forget we still are dealing with pushback in all of these things, that's why conspiracy theory sites came to be. People want to share experiences and find the truth of what they consider their perceived realities.

Have you heard the theory that our brains are wired for magic mushrooms?

And that our ability to learn in the manner we do, hunt, and use tools, may be directly linked to our ancestors' consumption of mushrooms.

Psilocybin is pretty weak, you need to munch too much to travel. Dhatura is what you need. Some traditions take two geckos and sew the eyes shut on one ant the mouth shut on the other.. One can see the path and not speak it, other can speak the path but not see it. This is a ritual to facilitate telepathy type shit.
I was not here.

I'm nearly 50 mate, I just stick to the odd gub full of magic mushrooms or cups of mushy tea when the season comes about.

Tried mescaline a few years back, now that was a journey and a half.

Im just into it for the experience, and the joy it can bring as well as the personal illumination of sorts.

Is Datura not like nightshade aka highly poisonous?

It's not something i would consider consuming or handling without expert guidance.
