How can I start seeing stuff again?

Just not in the manner most organised religious practices paint or subscribe to.

Nor one that requires my worship, attendance, or devotion.

When people say "we" in science or philosophy, it's usually shorthand for humans as observers.

But that "we" isn’t some unified cult.

It includes materialists, atheists, spiritual thinkers, and everyone in between.

The "clockwork universe" idea comes from early mechanistic science like Newton/Laplace, where everything runs like a predictable machine.

But modern physics and quantum mechanics, and even relativity, blew huge holes in that view.

So yes, the creation story, big bang, etc, and the nature of photons seem conflicting under purely materialist views.

Which is why some physicists, philosophers, and mystics argue that consciousness, information, or something non-material might play a role.

But again, actual tangible proof is the ticket, and that's what science endeavors to produce by way of repeatable experimentation and results.

Which, to date, remains elusive, to say the least.

Please do teach me more oh wise one.

I'm not here to teach, sorry

Although education is always a desirable outcome.

A little bit of banter and debate would not have gone amiss.

But with all those presumptions on your part...........................

As to being wise, the implication being a deep understanding and good judgment about life, naw that's not me.

I do, however, wish i could claim otherwise.

You live and learn, put it that way.

Robots have no life and would only be a product of your own Imagination.

Take yourself some mushrooms you will see the robots again.

Psilocybin, the only way to travel. ;)

Have you heard the theory that our brains are wired for magic mushrooms?

And that our ability to learn in the manner we do, hunt, and use tools, may be directly linked to our ancestors' consumption of mushrooms.

Well, in one word "colours."

Take some more, and the trip will be different for each person.

I mean it's the kind of thing that can change people, even into their adulthood.

It can also be a walking nightmare if done with the wrong sorts or under certain circumstances.

If you want my advice, dont eat Maltesers or try to buy things. ;)

Why do you ask?

Nothing against it, just it should be done with purpose and care and mostly not needed. A balm to ease the passage is good like alcohol or weed.

Besides there is the stigma of hallucination.

That's what i was going to say.
Problem with doing it the natural way is that it's often far less often and vivid, but it is there. Also it wavers more.
It has to do with your inner energy at any given time.
Same thing with dreams.
You can do all the same rituals and meditations and take melatonin but some weeks your dreams are just not super vivid or recalled much and others are like real life.
Interesting rhythms.

But in a more general sense, tangible proof of alien life visiting our planet.

Cheers for toning it down a tad all the same, im quite analytical, but i also like to keep an open mind to all possibilities.

And i will recognize the fact that in some areas, science has its shortcomings.

But it is still, imho, the best tool we have at our disposal, that will allow us to understand, and attempt to comprehend, life, the universe, and the reality we think we experience.

Call me silly but I think Mark Zuckerberg and his behaviour is proof that robots are real and living amongst us.

Lately I get more yawn than eek. Sometimes things are not very powerful like one is out of energy. Thats kind of why I mentioned waves/ cycles.
But yeah it's tempting to people to get the wow factor with the shortcuts  . But then you can't replicate it yourself.
