I'm introducing myself here but I'm actually one of the old members of ATS.  I am glad to see the effort to preserve an environment like this, and the efforts to preserve old ATS content.  I look forward to getting to know the new community.

Welcome, Val.  As I'm sure you know, we are told that DI is in active entropy;  we are told we are circling the drain.   Tis a shame, because, IMO DI was and is a real historic buffer and continuation from ATS to that which is in all our futures.   If we have children, they will write about it, how we helped shape the positive ideals of the world.   How we taught people how to discuss without rancor.
