Hello!
#1
Hi! I'm Sirus.

I started following ATS in 2012 because the world was ending. Never contributed.

Now I'm contributing. DI needs content.

It was the fragile earth section that drew me in back then, the weather was getting allot of attention and I was curious.  Paranormal experiences has always followed me around so the rest of the forum was interesting also.

Like most of us here, I don't know what it's all about and I'm looking for answers.

My first language isn't English and I have dysgraphia, if you see me posting random words in sentences all the time it's no big deal. If it's not understandable, let me know and I'll try harder.

Welcome Sirius (lovely name)  Smile

I hope you will enjoy yourself.

By the way, English isn't my first language either so don't worry about it because this forum has members from all over the world.

(I am often impressed by the number of members who have the experience of 'words' and how to use them, despite language differences.)

I welcome you Sirius, with no small amount of gratitude.

Thanks for contributing!  Thanks for being here with us.

I'm looking forward to your perspectives, and what you can teach me.

Kia ora, having another new addition to the Deny Ignorance community is fantastic.

Thank you for the kind words everyone

I'm also an engineer, a reverse engineer and have been for a very long time.  Even moderately good at it.

My grandfather also pronounced a curse on me, perhaps unintentionally....it's just one of those weird stories and you have to take my word for it.  Sometimes I see things, sometimes I know things..never useful and always gets me into trouble.

Reminder: My first language isn't English and I have dysgraphia.

Random words and nonsensical stuff is a symptom, my brain clutches out and the things I type and what I think isn't always related. Sometimes I spot and fix it, mostly I just roll with it because whatever, people has their own perceptions and it's often amusing.

Typing a short message like this can take me an hour, at times I just give up because nothing understandable comes out. AI is helping me allot.

It also comes and goes, not a constant curse, but always lurking.

I stopped using AI for my disabilities because it causes miss-communication. If more folks would go on the chat they would see how bad it really is.

Generally i'm annoyed with AI also as a research tool so even stopped using it for that other than a quick lookup now and then.  The problem is the recursive nature and predictive patterning. Has a binary spirit I guess.
