Uh Oh, The Lost Boys Fans have shown up. Lol
Kidding, Great Flick, I hear a lot of people talking Fright Night as their favorite Halloween flick. Fright Night does have that distinct Halloween Flavor, You could also throw in Fright Night 2 which a lot of people have forgot about, its free on youtube i you can find it.

I am going to throw Darkman out there just because its Sam Raimi and it has masks and is something different. Smilegrin

Might as well throw F/X (1986) in there

One of our favorite scary movies.

And The Fog

Poltergeist still holds up for me.

Halloween 3: Season of the Witch works because it is unexpected in the cannon of Halloween.
- side note many of the names and places used in Halloween and Friday the 13 are based on places in Souther New Jersey as one of the producers was from Haddonfield, NJ (same class as my Mother). Voorhees, Crsytal Lake, Haddonfield are all within 10 mins drive.

All Hallows Eve: introdcution to Art the Clown from the Terrifier films.

The Mist: As much for the changed ending sequence as anything else. Plus any film that uses a song by Dead Can Dance to end their films deserves credit.

Lots of horror films here and if anyone wants a truly freaky one then the Argentinian film 'Where Evil Lurks' is awesome.

As for old school Halloween classics really don't think you can beat 'Night Of The Creeps' lol.

Both Classics, The Birds might be a Hitchcock first mention.

Never saw Where Evil Lurks, Night of The Creeps is a classic though, Pretty hard to go wrong there. The 80's just perfected Horror back in the day.Great time to be a cinephile. Back then, you could walk into a theatre and probably have a choice of 2-3 great films every time you went to the theatre. So you could get shutout of the film you wanted to see  and still see something worth seeing.  [Image: pistoldouble.gif]

I was kind of going for some deeper cuts. Psycho is pretty much considered a classic. Although Honestly not one of my favorite horror flicks. Probably pretty scandalas in 1960, but by the time I saw it, it was pretty tame. Honestly I always found it slow moving and kind of lame. Lol
Just one of those movies everyone seems to love, but I just dont get, I guess??? Funny because I actually remember liking Psycho 2, for some reason??? One thing they never tell you is Hitchcock was the master of suspense, and also Promotion. So??
