HIV cases on a massive rise in russian army
#11
And then we have all the North Korean soldiers fighting with the Russians.   News reports out are that this is the first time they have been out from under N. Koreas thumb and they are going nutz with online porn and bad sex and booze behavior.    I wonder what 'goodies' the N. Koreans have picked up while with the Russians that they are going to bring home and spread in massive numbers.

That's a very good point.

Any North Koreans that are lucky enough to make it back, will be festering, disease bags!?!?

I thought Kim gave them strict instructions to kill themselves if caught or anything else so as to not disgrace their dear leader?

Many North Koreans have died drinking hand sanitizer, or moonshine/tainted booze.  At least per the Ukrainian Telegram channels.
Yes and the porn thing. It's pretty messed up.
HIV in the Russian Army? Not surprised , but I always wonder how much is also source bias, site's top stories are all rabidly pro Ukraine so there is that.
Searching for any other sources, as one does, brings this up, which as much as I hate to say it, is more trustworthy:

Russia’s armed forces have suffered a surge of HIV infections during the war in Ukraine, which has been attributed to fatalistic soldiers having unprotected sex and using drugs.
The number of HIV cases in the military has shot up since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, including a fivefold increase by autumn that year.

I try to look for stories to back up any News articles I post, and had seen it elsewhere. Thanks for posting it though.

I'd read that some North Koreans had become obsessed with internet porn, having never seen it before? That, and access to alcohol, it must have been like a bad 80s college movie in the Russian military dorms before deployment.

......

Before the Ukraine war started the EU got about 30% of its oil from Russia.  Today, it gets about 2%.  Whatever effect a European oil embargo was going to have on the outcome of the war, is already happening.

If you want the war to come to an end, you have to kill soldiers on one side at a higher rate than those on the other.

Given that poor set of choices, I would prefer it be the Russian soldiers that get killed faster.

I just came across this little bit of news...

https://www.dagens.com/
Quote:The proposed legislation allows enlistment offices to carry out medical exams, psychological evaluations, and draft board hearings at any time of year.
Draft notices would also be sent out on a rolling basis, rather than tied to seasonal schedules.

It sure looks like Putin is having a hard time replacing the numbers of soldiers lost, he's having to go from a twice yearly conscript to all year round.

It's really on Europe.
And it's not our part of the world.
It's Europes backyard.
They need to take care of it.

Delusional, The EU are cap in hand begging Russia for energy while acting the big power economy.
Putin owns the EU and pay war debt with EU oil money.
Trump played, Putin must be laughing at the West and its idiocracy, only person being played is uncle sam,  the whole US and for many years by the previous US government, laughing stock of BRICS and the rest of the world aware of the stupidity

Bet Putin is quite pleased that the WEF have no power in Russia

 As for your source, really?

I"m not delusional.   Europe has to stop buying Russian energy/oil.
And what source?   I gave none.
Are you drunk this morning or something?

Wow, NK and their porn and fentanyl, oops I meant hand sanitizer addiction issues
Pretty sure by population and % the US have a bigger issue than poor old Kim has to deal with
At least the US citizens have the freedom/right to drug and beat their meat to their death
