Games a bogey. 

Donald Trump says he will not be imposing tariffs regarding Greenland after a "very productive" meeting with NATO chief Mark Rutte.
In his post on his Truth Social platform, Trump says "we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland and, in fact, the entire Arctic Region".
The US president adds the "solution" will be great for the US and all NATO countries.
"Based upon this understanding, I will not be imposing the Tariffs that were scheduled to go into effect on February 1st," he says.
Trump says that further discussions will be had about the Golden Dome.

Maybe the lizard people at Davos got tired of his shenanigans and turned down his volume? 

Maybe he simply came to his senses.

Or the penny finally dropped, and he comprehends the USA.

Can build as many bases as they want in Greenland without owning the place?

As long as Trump doesn't invade Greenland.

And moves along to the next distraction i suppose that's a win.

Putin, still in the Ukraine despite all the ramblings of Europe.  

Iran.  The US set back their nuke program.  The left whined it was going to be WWIII.

Venezuela.  Added, taking on Chinese influence in the western hemisphere.  The left complained it was the start of a new war.

Trump flexes US muscle with simple goals accomplished, the left whines.  Trump isn’t taking direct action keeping the US out of empire building, the left whines.

Make up your freaking minds.

So they did it 20-30 years after us and that justifies us leveraging our power to expand our borders?

It gives Trump the right to continue to push for huge foreign policy without congressional approval?

He ran on no new wars, no regime change, not being the global police but we’re going to outright take Greenland because they did forced sterilization, which we did to?

I don't recall the administration using it for a justification.  We have since learned that he agreed with the head of NATO that there would be no military action to take Greenland.

We can and are doing better, though.  The Inuit in Alaska are getting a little money from the oil business.  

Can it be the Danes want to run a closed shop and simply don't have the investment capital to develop any oil or mineral extraction with enough profit left over to pay off their indigenous people enough to secure their agreement?  Greenland is mainly a fishing economy.

And, like I've said a hundred times, the unfortunate events seem to betray that Denmark can't afford to manage and police their indigenous population, which implies they may not be securing Greenland well enough.

Thats just the right’s Obama. Tell the people what they want to hear, get elected, then tell everyone you know better. If he said he was going into Venezuela, going to take Greenland, and bomb Iran, I seriously doubt he’d have won. Not because Kamila was even viable, but because every president post Bush Jr has ran on being anti war since it left such a bad taste in our mouths.

The US is not "going into Venezuela." There is not presently a war.

He has agreed with the head of NATO not to use military force to take Greenland.

There is no war in Iran. Removing their nuclear weapon program may have prevented a war.
