As he puts it, he is many things.

He noted that politics “is in part a popularity contest,” and he pointed out a tension between getting votes and living a life of faith.
 
“When you’re trying to do things that make you liked by as many people as possible, you’re not likely to do things that are consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church,” Vance said then. “I’m a Christian, and a conservative, and a Republican, so I have definite views about what that means. But you have to be humble and realize that politics are essentially a temporal game.”

She hates Christians, any kind of Christian, and couldn't resist the opportunity to simply bash a Christian. That's what it was.

Lame.  I was raised Christian. 

But research led me to understand religion (all of them) is about control and the concept of a god is man made.

Basically "good people are good people -- "bad people are bad people" -- no matter the label.

Christian Nationalism is a lot more than just a religion. Their goal is God's law above all else.  They are a political force behind the Right.

Ever heard of the PNAC?  Project for the New American Century?  Guess who they transitioned into.  Heritage Foundation.  Just saying this goes deep and total control has been in the works for decades.

I know it is. Scary zealots too. Years in the making, Alito's "logic" (use it loosely with that one) and all. And now its here. And in everyone in that administration is an extension of every christian fellowship to ever have a prayer breakfest. 

We could have been taken over by the epitomized fat white racists in a smoky cigar lounge. 

But... I dont support coups. And we are stuck with the executive we elected until 2029 and the legislature though 2027. I still believe in that. I still believe in the potential to tie your own noose too. 

He is crafting the blue wave, and if he values his congressional support so little that he will risk their seats with something so unpopular, he will prove through actions that when he says, "America First" he really means.

So when confronted with Trump's megalomaniac decline as his detached will to power punishes Americans and risks global stability, my preference for democracy wins out above else.

I know its counterintuitive, but even JD Vance would be something. to reset this trajectory. A step back would be taken.

And I think an unsupported military action is grounds to consider The 25th.. It's not like theres a constitutional avenue to remove EVERYONE. That's not democracy.

Would it prevent Vance from becoming Medvedev and taking orders anyway?

Dont know. Probably not.

But Trump wouldn't be able to speak for The USA anymore... And cause that rising sickness and hysteria of our world as we know it disintegrating in real time.

And while we are on "Where Trump fits in with religion."

Christian Nationalists can see him as the pony to ride on into the crusades against evil, but rather ironically, In "Traditional Satanism," Trump is the embodiment of Satan in nature incarnate. As Satan is THE meshing of adversity driving nature along. 

And that is being the embodiment of entropy. The arrival of increasing chaos. The destruction that brings creation. Satan is not to be revered but planned for, like an approaching tempest.. 

Because when it arrives it brings upheaval in it's wake and serves a role to keep the perpetual cosmic wheel churning up the foundations of the environment.

And Trump is at least the geopolitical version of that.
