Quote:Greenland, an icy treasure trove rich in rare earth metals and oil, has become a focal point of global attention. Recently, a high-stakes geopolitical struggle is unfolding over its resources and control. U.S. President Donald Trump has proposed purchasing Greenland, with one of his primary motivations being to drive out Russian and Chinese influence in the Arctic.
China is already mining resources on Greenland.

Big whoop!
China and Russia are mining and buying resources on the American continent and both are making money within the USA.
Perhaps the USA should invade itself to prevent them from getting a foothold?

I am just gonna copy a post I posted in another topic because I am getting tired of this!
No one alive today personally made the decisions that harmed Greenlander's decades ago, and it feel unfair when present day Danes are spoken to as if they were responsible for actions they never took!
Today Denmark provides significant support to Greenland, financially and institutionally.
Child protection cases do happen in Greenland, just as they do in Denmark and every other country, but child removal is always a last resort - and the reasons are complex. Some families face serious challenges, and society steps in to protect children. And I think we should always help children if their parents can't take care of them. Because if a child is unsafe, a good society will protect them.
I love my country, but no country on planet earth is perfect, but we can work together on creating a better future for all.
And if we have enough love for each other then we will survive.
If we don't then we will go extinct....

Cool. Now do the same thing regarding slavery and the US.

I will always hold a fond place in my heart for the people of Denmark because of their contributions to the world of round, sugary pastries—but geopolitics is geopolitics.

Reserve Estimates
U.S. Holds Most Recoverable Oil Reserves
By Per Magnus Nysveen
OSLO, NORWAY–The United States now holds the world’s largest recoverable oil reserve base–more than Saudi Arabia or Russia–thanks to the development of unconventional resource plays.
Ranking nations by the most likely estimate for existing fields, discoveries and as-of-yet undiscovered fields (proved, probable. possible and undiscovered), the United States is at the top of the list with 264 billion barrels of recoverable oil reserves, followed by Russia with 256 billion, Saudi Arabia with 212 billion, Canada with 167 billion, Iran with 143 billion, and Brazil with 120 billion (Table 1).

I think a major factor here is the Northwest Passage. Currently, it's traversable for about half of the year. But by mid-century, it is predicted to be traversable year-round. When shipping goods from Asia to, say, New York City, the shipping route through the Northwest Passage is 5000km shorter than going through the Panama Canal. That's huge! It's quite important because, while America has significant West Coast ports, those ports really don't have access to inland water routes like the East Coast ports do. They're fine for lightweight consumer goods, but for import/export of bulk materials from the midlands, they require expensive transport via roadway or rail. With the East Coast ports, the extensive network of connecting waterways and canals are much cheaper, if not offset by increase shipping distance at sea. The Northwest Passage provides that advantage, and this I think is why Trump is considering that US securing and protecting intermediate ports on Baffin Bay is essential to national security in the coming decades.
Waterways, waterways—I tell ya, it's about securing the world's trade bottlenecks under American control. Panama Canal, Suez Canal, Northwest Passage—there's a common theme running through Trump 'crazy' foreign policy.

Yeah, I am of the opinion the US dollar is propped up by the fact all oil everywhere is to be traded in US currency. Any country that doesn’t trade oil in US tends to fall. That’s the US hegemony.

Its not about how much oil you have, it’s how you control everyone else’s and how much profit you can make.
I expect China to be buying Venezuela oil off the US at a very good price undercutting Rus
My thoughts based on others opinions

I love this quote by you, truly.
I’ve been saying the same thing for a long time.
It’s truth.
“No one alive today personally made the decisions that harmed “insert victim here” decades ago, and it feel unfair when present day “Americans” are spoken to as if they were responsible for actions they never took!”
I took the liberty of editing (quotes are mine) it a bit and it still rings true.
