Trump should apologise, that's what real men do when they make that sort of faux pas.
He won't through, he will simply double down and put the other foot in the mouth.
The only front line Scumbag Trump knows is at McDonalds.
I'm seeing a lot of talk about the E.U. dumping trillions of dollars worth of American financial assets held in Europe, after his NATO and Europe bashing.

I've had enough of many things in global politics, but experience and maturity taught me to not take it too far.
It's a shame that Scumbag Trump doesn't have that!
China is out across the world building allies and trying to establish themselves as a stable go to for pretty much everything (to the detriment of the west). Whilst Scumbag Trump throws tantrums and tariffs at his allies whilst sh*tting on the memory of the dead, turning the U.S. into the moody hateful loner that nobody wants to deal with.

Trump's not the first US president to suggest it.
Harte
That's not the "diabolical" part.
And it's not the first time he's said horrible things about soldiers, including your own.
"Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers." about U.S. war dead at Aisne-Marne American Cemetery.
"They were suckers." referring to U.S. Marines killed at Belleau Wood.
"You think I’m stupid? I wasn’t going to Vietnam."
But he's still not getting Greenland, so...

Well....ok.
I mean, if we have to shut down our European military bases, I guess they can get along without us. Germany certainly doesn't need that 3 -4 billion per year and those thousands of local jobs, not to mention billions more across the rest of Europe and the UK.
They could just turn Ramstein into housing for immigrants.

It may also have to do with PAROS; if Denmark signs this (which they seem to support), would it inhibit the actions of the US Space Base on their territory, without sovereignty?

The thing is David, Scumbag Trump's constant sh*tting on his allies will end up hurting American and European people whilst it's real enemies rub there's hands with glee. Trump is making many of the world financial markets feel like Trump's America is no longer the stable investment it used to be, which is only going to be benefit China in the end.
Those investments you talk about goes both ways, and will hurt America possibly more if they start dumping American financial assets too.
Also by making enemies of those countries that share their intelligence is only going to isolate America even further.
Trump is usually laughed at by the average person in Europe, he's seen as a loud mouth ignoramus, but he's really angered people with his recent insulting comments.
The only time Article 5 has ever been evoked was by America, and many European countries rushed to show support After 9\11 and were dragged into 20 years of war, with soldiers dying in what America called the defence of 'Freedom'. There was no hesitation to support an ally.
Trump has shown that he has no compassion to those that died helping America in that conflict, and has no moral obligation's to his 'friends'

I'm about 50/50 on Trump.
I know he thinks he's doing what's best for America, but pissing off our allies and business partners is not helping. I do agree with him that NATO allies need to pay their share, but going after the men and women who served is just beyond contempt.
He wants to shit on Europe, take it out on their leaders and leave the soldiers out of it. If it weren't for them we'd all be goose stepping and speaking German.

The trouble is America felt it needed to be in Europe to fight it's cold war with Russian communism. Europe definitely benefited from America setting up camps on Russia's doorstep (no denying that), but they didn't court the U.S. for it's bases. German bases for example are still a left over from the end of WW2 and Russia's push west afterwards. We're in this situation with NATO because America made the choice to fight communism and used co-operation and capitalism to help steer Europe.
Scumbag Trump seems to think America never benefited from it's partnerships with Europe, he seems to be ignoring it's shared intelligence networks, it's financial co-operation, and markets. America is partly were it is today because of that.
Trump is now trying to destroy what's taken 80 years to build after America's previous self-isolationism.
He needs to apologise to the families that lost loved ones in defence of America.
