About the time everyone gears up for drone warfare a game changing development will come along and make the drones almost useless IMO

Someone combined a microwave oven and a spotlight. That weapon is just as easy to conceal as a spotlight. First shot and it gives away its position.

And what protects it from artillery? Obvious visible target and is a priority target. There is no way to camouflage a microwave transmitter unless you just don't use it.
