Going To The Store…

I went to the store today. Minding my own business. Shopping for something to cook tonight. 

I was about to get chicken breast to grill. 

All of a sudden I was punched in the face and lip by an older man. I was not expecting this. 

I have been kick boxing for 20 years and could have hurt this person, but I did not hurt him. 

I warned him, I said if you hit me again I will break your leg and your arm. He was all kinds of pissed off. He tried to throw another punch at me. This time I turned shopping into a boxing ring and I caught his arm and most likely broke it in self defence.

I asked him why are you attacking me. 

He said my wife is having an affair and you kind of look like the person that was on my ring doorbell camera. 

I told him that you just hit the wrong person. He ended up running out of the store. 

I told the manager and he called the police. It was on their cameras. 

I really don’t want to press charges and deal with this. I would rather have Karma take over.

No, he accused me of being with his wife. So he hit me. I am not that kind of person at all.

The world is going mad, and these kinds of incidents are now so common. We expect this kind of behaviour from the youth of today, baby gangs, etc.; not from 'mature' adults.

If he did that to you, I wonder what he will do to his wife! Hopefully the police will identify him and do their own investigation without you having to be involved beyond a victim testimony.
