Gnostic ARCHONS

Let's have a thread about gnostic ARCHONS.
I'll post the little bit I know.   I'm not an expert.   
So others with better knowledge please jump in.

I put this in CONSPIRACY of religions and not just religion
because I think that ARCHONS may be being covered up.
It could be that people just don't believe in them and it's 
not a conspiracy ... but it could be so here it is.

Upfront .... I'll say that I'm 50/50 on if ARCHONS exist.
An anecdotal case can be made for them, in my opinion.
I think the stories of ARCHON wars etc are probably just made up.
But the basic premise of them existing and manipulating humanity
and sucking off our energy ... I think that could very well be true.


What are gnostic ARCHONS?   As far as I can tell -  My way of describing it is that, according to gnosticism, they are malevolent invisible entities that govern the material human world and stand between us and the God Who created everything.   They manipulate events in human lives and human history to create negative emotions and negative energies, which they feed off of. 

 Some describe them as demons -   I have the impression that they are more than just demons.   Demons hate and try to usurp God's plans for humanity.    They don't feed off our energy.   Archons do feed off our energy.   Archons DO try to stop humans from returning to the divine source when they die ... but Archons seem to be more powerful than regular demons.  They can be considered lesser gods (small 'g' as opposed to the capital 'G' when talking about THE ONE Gods).   Someone with greater knowledge of this can decern which they are ... just evil entities or if they are lesser gods.

Humans and demons and any other entity can change and become archons.   

I have no idea how many archons there are supposed to be.  I've read 7.  I've read 12.  I've read a number too large to count, like demons are too many to count.   The gnostic teacher Basilides taught about a 'great archon' named Abraxas who has 365 archons below him.  I don't know which is 'right'.

There are supposed to be celestial regions where people can escape to and in which the archons have no power.   I'm not talking just about Heaven.  I'm talking about actual physical locations in the universe that a soul/spirit/human can travel to.  Also reaching gnosis makes a human out of reach for archons.

Archons in the bible - Some have interpreted the following texts to imply that there are archons, and not just Satan (the Devil).  The Gospel of Matthew (4:8), the Gospel of Luke (4:6), the Gospel of John (12:31, 14:30, and 16:11) and 1 John (5:19).   I disagree.   I think that those are just Satan and that the ARCHONS are strictly in the gnostic texts.

Names of the known Archons - Yaldabaoth, Yao, Sabaoth, Adonaios, Astaphaios, Eliaios, Horaios, Seth, David.    Pistis Sophia says the five leader Archons are - Paraplex, Hekate, Ariouth, Typhon, Lachtanabas.  

Because of the connection in the Archon stories to astrology and astronomy, there is a thought that much of the gnostic Archon beliefs come from Babylonian religions and astrology.

That's all I know about ARCHONS.   Others please jump in.
It would be great to know how to decern between Archon energy affecting 
people and demonic energy .. or just plain negative human energy.
In my readings I can't find that.

My anecdotal case for Archons ...  Look at the state of the world today and through history.   Yes it could be that humans naturally tend toward the evil.   Yes it could be that it's simply demonic energy manipulating humanity.  But it seems bigger than that to me.   Of course, I could be wrong, but look at life on earth ... even something as simple as eating food comes with negative energy ... the animals that we enslave and kill SUFFER so that we might live.  And the animals that hunt each other .. all the killing and dying.   It's really a messed up system (I call it the circle of death) designed to create fear and negative emotions for people who do the killing and the animals who do the dying.

The true nature of this reality, is why we will never get true disclosure from our governments. We have been trapped here with endless memory wipes. Our governments all know this and are in compliance with the rulers.

It is also the reason that pervading evil dominates this planet. All the elites heinous ritual practices come from Archon rule and worship. 

Yes, they can be in the spirit. They can also take physical form. That physical form that they take is reptilian. Don't believe me? Just look at what's coming out in the congressional hearings about the 4 species that they admit are already here.

take gender form and reproduce?   Could there be offspring
of ARCHONS in the population?

The theology I know says that spiritual entities can not take 
physical form and can not reproduce, not in physical form and 
not in the spirit world.  They are genderless.

They are referred to as metaphysical entities/principalities and or physical beings operating against the will and ruling over mankind in the material world. They can primarily exist in the metaphysical but be manifested and or incarnate in the physical. From my perceptions, yes they are the demonic influences that can test the spirit of mankind with temptations.   

They implement doubt in the human mind to limit belief in succeeding or perseverance over challenging situations, encouraging humanity to give up or feel too overwhelmed to try. 

They encourage greed into the human consciousness, to force the human mind to feel it's ok to take and steal from one another and to war and kill one another for financial, resources or land gain. 

It appears their goal is to like some of the negative Djinn who serve Iblis to cripple mankind into a continuous stumble.  

-Iblis, the king dginn operates like Archon. The Quran explicitly mentions Iblis (إِبْلِيس) 11 times. Iblis is a prominent figure in Islamic theology, recognized as the head of the devils (shayāṭīn) and the entity responsible for refusing to prostrate before Adam, which led to his expulsion from heaven.- 

This is to prevent mankind, the spirit of mankind from making it back to perfection or the PLEROMA-HEAVEN. 

Sometimes I wonder if they and the Demiurge are worried that if the souls make it home they (the Archons) will be left with no jobs or relevance so they work hard to keep humanity behind. 

It appears humanity why in physical flesh form can overcome them with a more peaceful approach to life and one another overall. Those actions then shall free the metaphysical souls from the grasp of the Archons manipulating this imperfect material world/matrix...Simulation to actual reality within the HEAVEN-PLEROMA regions of EXISTENCE.

The teachings of beings like AEON LORD JESUS CHRIST are in fact spiritual support systems that can be used to overcome the Demiurge, it's Archons and their minions...  

Areas the Bible mentions archon- (Greek: ἄρχων), but the word is typically translated as "ruler," "prince," "magistrate," or "chief" in standard English translations.

It appears 37 times in the New Testament to describe human leaders (like members of the Sanhedrin) or, more significantly in Pauline theology, spiritual powers.   

Here is a breakdown of how "archon" is used in the Bible: 

1. Spiritual Powers ("Rulers of this Age")

In Paul’s letters, archon refers to spiritual beings or cosmic powers that hold dominion over the world, often in a negative or adversarial sense. 

1 Corinthians 2:6-8: Paul speaks of the "rulers of this age" (archontōn tou aiōnos toutou) who crucified the Lord of glory, suggesting invisible, demonic powers behind the human agents of the crucifixion. 

Ephesians 2:2: Refers to the "ruler (archonta) of the power of the air," identifying this spirit as the force currently at work in the "sons of disobedience". 

Ephesians 6:12: While not using the word archon directly in the phrase "principalities and powers," this context of struggling against spiritual forces of evil is often grouped with the "archons" mentioned elsewhere.  

2. Earthly Rulers and Leaders The term is used for human, earthly authorities in various contexts:  

Luke 24:20: Refers to the chief priests and rulers (archontes) who handed Jesus over to be crucified.

Acts 23:5: Paul calls a high priest a ruler (archonta) of the people. 

Romans 13:3: Uses the term for government authorities or magistrates.

Matthew 9:18: Refers to a synagogue leader or ruler.   

3. Titles of Jesus

Conversely, archon is also used for Jesus himself in a positive, leadership context: 

Revelation 1:5: Jesus is described as the "ruler (archōn) of the kings of the earth".   

Relation to GnosticismWhile the Bible uses the term to describe oppressive spiritual forces, it is in Gnostic literature (such as the Nag Hammadi texts, like The Hypostasis of the Archons) where the "Archons" are developed into a full, complex mythology as malevolent, demiurgic creators who trap human souls in the material world.   

I think some of the Archons smaller minions they rule over (possible NHI) are the kind who possibly are into the energy draining of mankind processes.  

The Archons appear to have jobs serving the Demiurge will and so test mankind.  They may or may not operate like some of their more vampirik minions below them...

I have no problem with people thinking homosexual preferences are the result of demonic possession.  Knock yourself out.

There is tons of demonic behavior surrounding sexuality, but i think much of that is founded by trauma and funded socially..

I could've ended up pathologically obsessed and putting on a grand psychological gymnastics display of endless defense mechanisms, and that's when you REALLY become possessed.

Unless people think extreme repression leads anywhere other than dissociative personality, s'alright?

When Mommy Dearest had hypothyroidism while pregnant with you, you sometimes end up with a slightly lower 2D:4D ratio, and really like PE class for some reason.

So its more being possessed by in-utero androgen levels?

I only read the first two sentences of this - due to the fact that you clearly took what I said out of context. You could serve yourself well by 'zooming up' and looking at the bigger picture. Not everything is about your little California sexuality dysmorphia. 

Fact is, you literally live in the eye of the beast. Yet, you can't see it. Must mean you're a part of it. At minimum, they did their magic work on desensitizing you.

Please IP, help us all understand why we should accept pedophilia and cannibalism. Which is very on topic when referring to the Archons.
