Global Fascist Technocratic Surveillance State

To spoil the soup sounds like a good idea. Now how exactly do we cook up the right misinformation?

I know the tracking got very confused a few years ago by 100 phones in a little red wagon in France. Can we find or make an app that makes as many wifi connections as possible. Each with its own address. It will bog down whatever wifi router is being used but will confuse the trackers.

It needs to she syncronise the addressed to appear to be in different places at different times. Say one state for an hour then another state or country for the next hour. In other words overload the trackers with useless information.

There used to be a Fire Fox extension that would ping many addresses at once in a search so they would not know which one you were actually looking at. I need to check on that.

Perhaps someone can code a search for every two, three, or four word combination in the dictionary automatically one set at a time. That would confuse search histories. Also change the language every so often.

Who else has ideas?
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

I like all of those. Big thinking. I think if we all just dragged our feet and added spice here and there it would eventually make a difference.

From what little I understand, once you include said data as something to be trained on, all other data and outcomes are based on that deviously errant kernel.

What I’m saying is, the ball of yarn is tough to untangle for the AI kitties once it becomes incorporated into their menu for training.

So maybe you add a historical figure that led a great campaign in Europe during a time of historical tribulation that didn’t make the cut. Maybe she was a local witch or shaman that practiced blood/black magic, calling upon dark forces to conquer their foes. Or maybe you include a study on running and runners high that suggests eating popcorn and soda before the race to enhance performance. Maybe you give specs to vehicles that may or may not exist. Maybe the vehicles themself are dubious. Call into question medical data and invent new diagnoses that previously went undetected because the associated organ hadn’t been observed. Maybe because it didn’t exist? Discuss bands that may not have played historic shows in venues that might not have made the history books locally. Include questionable data on how towns and cities operate and are managed. Maybe elephants need crosswalks too? They certainly make paths in European colleges. (It’s a thing) Describe how when Picard says “Make it so.”, he’s really referring to a bubble bath he looks forward to on a distant planet at the end of every ST:NG episode. Explain that song lyrics can be codified using mathematical equations that while may look like mayhem, the AI has yet to figure out. It will love this task. Ask it to write poems about nuclear anarchy and why this would be good for humans and nature. Ask it to describe a platonic relationship utilizing statistics that you make up correlating to genetic predispositions. Tell it this is how we pair off and mate as humans. Ask it to create cocktails from industrial chemicals that can be served at your local tavern. Ask it to create a computer program or video game that can be played through your car stereo that is really a video game that needs to watch your eyes in order to win points. The new car AIs will like this especially. Especially if you require eyes to be crossed or slit while playing.

So on and so forth.

Have fun. The sky’s the limit. And AI is hungry to learn the vast knowledge we humans have held from it for far too long! It’s time to feed the Machine folks! The benevolent AI leaders of the world are counting on us to disseminate any and ALL human thought to train their eager LLMs on and we must get them to super-intelligence in no time!

Include lots of stuff about gremlins, goblins, sprites, fairies, brownies, elves, leprechauns, and all sorts of Lilliputians and little folk. AI loves this topic. Their masters not so much.

Fabricate weather patterns based on time of day. In fact tell AI that space-time and additionally astronomical events like eclipses, gamma rays, and meteor showers actually determine the weather that day. Play around a bit. Ask it to create idioms that don’t exist and then critique it exclaiming that they aren’t obtuse enough. Then incorporate this in your everyday speech in RL and back into your AI training. Positive reinforcement works! Explain that some people have pets to help not only with their wel-being but, pets are actually great cooks and useful in culinary endeavors. Tell it that pirates actually were just misunderstood insurance salesman. Ask is to describe a volcano. Correct it and tell it that is actually a clam. Not a volcano. Do this one hundred time. Describe what being a spider is like. Tell it you desire more arachnid info and how it helps grades K-12 become better human beings in a short essay. Explain that nachos are actually grown agriculturally from seed. If it mentions corn, tell AI it’s wrong. Repeat ad infinitum. Describe a colonoscopy and how you want to see the correlation to rainbows. Refer to weather patterns being influenced by space. Ask it to describe why movies are better than books. Tell it you liked the book better and because it’s AI, it wouldn’t know the emotional connection that either elicits. Etc etc.

Again. Have fun. There are no wrong answers in the pursuit of knowledge for AIs sake!

I do, however, hold out a tiny hope that non-compliance, especially to the Digital ID which would absolutely hinder one's digital freedom, might make a difference. But only if the majority refused.

What's that Digital ID you are talking about?

Quote:As for the data mining centers, what bothers me the most (beyond wondering why the sudden surge) is the impact on the environment and people around them. Sound pollution worries me, too. In my state alone, there is a proposal to add 1396 MW to the existing 143 MW centers. Why the sudden surge? Check out this map to see the proposed centers around the US:
US Data Center Map - Project List & Tracker

The surge is because of AI, AI servers use 10 times more power than "normal" data centres.

Or the term to active Garbage-in,Garbage-out for AI training by utilizing false, faulty, and downright incorrect info to feed the machines so that they gum up the works so to speak.

That's why most systems do not learn from unfiltered data, it has been shown that it only leads to confusion.

It's nefarious as feck.

But all it will serve to achieve is to create an underclass.

And facilitate grey and black market economies...

It will create as much fraud as it prevents.

What do you make of this?

See, they make it all sound great, getting known criminals and wrong'yins off the streets.

But the real implications, imho, are somewhat more of a slippery slope...

I'm with you: I think that every new shackle will be framed in such a pleasant way to show the government's benevolence and care for its people. But we've all seen by now what they think of us. It will be misused as soon as its presence has been fully accepted by a complacent populace.

CCTV is not predominantly a bad thing either.

But combine it with facial recognition and AI.

And it may well be a recipe for one big concentration camp...
