I kind of put myself off writing for a time. I couldn't think of what genre or niche I fitted in. I've kind of had an epiphany though!

My autistic granddaughter messaged me just before the schools broke up for the holidays asking if she could show her music teacher a poem I had written about her. He in turn showed it to the other teachers in the staff room and her English teacher set a work sheet on it for her special needs class! It's my claim to fame lol. She then messaged me saying 'I'm going to write a poem but I can't do it like you' I said, 'what do you mean'? She said 'kid like'.

I've realised I can write poetry for middle schoolers! I didn't even know that was a thing before now!

Some ideas:

Show costumes are ever so uncomfortable
some more than others
hard to see
hard to breathe
chaffing.

The reviews came out
the show is bombing out.
If the producer can't come up
with a new, better play

well there are other dance groups
with better plays.
