Who was the best Dr?
For me it's a tie between Baker and Pertwee.
Tennant was good but after him it became so woke as to be unwatchable.
Tom Baker then Tennant, but only the first 2 seasons.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

I love good plausible Sci-Fi.
Dr Who is just too gimmicky for me.

Let’s see: Hopalong Cassidy — Sheriff John — Kukla, Fran, & Ollie.
And I’m a Daffy Duck fan.
Yes! Kulk, Fran and Ollie.
And the Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday evening.

Fantastic you brought that legendary figure up!

I watched True Detective once and it was extremely disturbing fiction...how do they and who thinks of these evil plots? Must be a Stephen King type of brain action going on with that show. Anyway, I won't be watching that again.
I'll stick to the occasional watching (only if absolutely desperate) of Colombo, Murder She Wrote, The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes offerings.
I haven't watched old time TV shows in quite some time as of lately I mostly watch youtube for non-fiction viewing. Like right now I just watched how to dehydrate orange slices for Christmas decor in the oven and have to wait 4 hours now before they are ready, so here I am on DI.

Regarding True Detective, I found some of the things that the undercover detective did to maintain his cover identity, like starving himself and injecting himself with dirty water to get the infections and track marks -these were totally in line with a dangerously obsessive cop who would do anything, literally, anything, to get the crim, including constantly putting his life in danger trying to get closer to unstable murderous psychopathic criminals.
Sometimes evil would have to be actually truly evil, even in fiction.
Also, if you have an air fryer, they can also dry stuff...

Arrested Development S1-3 is by far my all time favourite show.
It will always make me laugh no matter how many times I watch it.
I also love Friends and Schitt's Creek.
Oh and Soap! I love that one! Another one that always makes me laugh no matter how much I watch it!

With True Detective they state that some stories were based off of true events but then turn around and say it's all fiction. Somehow I think they are just stating that for legal reasons. The evils that humans do.
