This is some interesting news that could be a game changer for the opioid crisis.

This looks promising for a couple of reasons. If the vaccine works, it will not only save lives in the short term, it could potentially help people get off opIoids, saving lives and families longer term as well.
This is still in the early stages of testing. From the article, they have completed animal studies, and will begin phase 1/2 human studies in 2026.
